Another, (yes, another!) fan-fic!!! except this one has a catch...

MUHAHA!!!!!!! I was hoping to completely keep you all in a panicked suspense, but it didn't seem to work. I'm tired of holding this back, so here's the next little bit.

The next morning Katriana was proud to put her son in his new mittens and booties made out of Peter’s old sweater. She had reconstructed the material so that it wouldn’t unravel while she was making the clothing. Josian had needed the clothes so badly, and she didn’t have the extra money to buy yarn. She tucked the strings of his hat under his chin.

“You look just like your father, did you know that?” she said in a gentle, teasing voice. He gurgled and reached for her. She tapped the button nose between his two dark blue eyes and he squirmed away from the ticklish feeling. They were going to visit Aunt Polly, who had demanded a visit from them. “She’ll be so surprised at how much you’ve grown!” And with that, she scooped him up in her arms and they were off.

You haven't posted for so long, and I was getting kinda sad 'cause I wanted to see what happens to peter's sweater. But, yay, here's another update! It was great.:)

lol, I was trying to elicit emotion because I left it a cliffhanger. only a little response, though. :p maybe I'll have to make it more... desperate... next time. :D and thanks! I have no idea when more will come though...

here's more, y'all!

Peter was looking through his closet and muttering to himself when Edmund walked in. His younger brother watched him for a moment before asking,

“Pete, what are you doing?”

“I’m trying to find my blue and green sweater! You know, the one with the long sleeves?”

“Pete, you haven’t had that sweater in a long time. You wore it the day at the restaurant when the girl fell on all that glass?”

“Oh. You’re right, I forgot about that,” he said with a sigh as he sat down on his bed. Edmund plunked down beside him.

“So, what do you think of Kathy?” Ed asked casually. Peter glanced over at him with a look that said, ‘oh, not you too’. Edmund pretended to look oblivious to it.

“I wish everyone would stop asking me that. She’s nice, all right!”

“Did you know that Mum’s inviting her over for dinner tomorrow night?”

“WHAT?” Peter cried out as he whipped around to face Edmund. The younger teenage boy nodded.

“Yep. Right after she gets done cleaning, Mum’s going to insist that she stay.” Peter ran through his hair in frustration. “Peter, I know that you’re tired of everyone asking you about her. I understand why. But she really is a nice girl, and you could be friends with her. It wouldn’t kill you,” Ed said seriously. Peter scanned his brother’s face with confusion, which turned to sadness.

“I’m just afraid to get close to her. To any girl, for that matter.”

“You can still have friends that are girls though. Mum thinks you’re completely off your rocker. She’s asked several other women if their sons ever acted like this,” Edmund said while raising his one eyebrow in mock concern. Peter rolled his eyes at him.

“I can’t help it,” he said quietly. “You’re not interested in girls!” Edmund coughed, turned away, and started whistling. “Ed, who is it? You’ve got to tell me!” Peter said as he shook his brother’s shoulders.

“No! Now stop. It’s nothing. I’ve not even talked to her yet.”

“Well, you should! What good is it going to do you if you just sit and stare?” Peter said with a smirk. Edmund turned and glared at him before getting the most evil look in his eyes.

“All right, I’ll make you a deal.” Peter’s smirk left his face. “I’ll talk to her if you talk to Kathy.” Peter opened his mouth and started to shake his head. “What’s unfair about that?” Edmund protested with eyebrows raised. Peter looked away.

“Nothing,” he muttered. It was Ed’s turn to smirk. He patted his brother on the shoulder.

“You’ll thank me someday for this; trust me.”

“We’re shopping around for Christmas gifts for each other,” Edmund said as he tried on a hat from a stand, letting his own fall to the floor. It was a woman’s hat with a large, purple brim and a long white feather that wrapped around the front. He walked over to the full-length mirror to see how it looked. Lucy laughed and grabbed a top hat and put it on her head, letting it tip to the side.
EDDDDDDDDDDD! Golly, gee willikers, boy. Soo silly.

Maybe next time you have Katriana take scissors to a pair of Peter's clothing you should precede it with a paragraph or two of Katriana's hopelessness of the situation. That'll get 'em worried.

Great update Nicki! I was also beginning to think that Peter WAS "off his rocker." :)

NO SPAM ALLOWED WHILE I'M GONE.

I'm serious. I get people pming me all the time saying that they don't want to take the time to sift through all your guys's spam to read my story; and for me to e-mail it to them, and I DO NOT have time to do that between three jobs, full-time at school, and being involved at church. Before it was all fun and games, but now it's for real. Please stop or I'll ask a mod to come and ask y'all. Spamming is for Dufferland.

Like they say, it's all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack!! OK *sheepishly* No more spam from me. Love ya!
