Any Members Here Over 40????

My, my--it's been awhile since I've popped here--no it's not my age causing my failing memory--LOL  It's just that lately I've had a lot of serious heavy duty work to do at a computer--that's the one thing about getting older--one has to contend with so much serious stuff in life--thought I'd goof off though today and have some fun.
Well It's only going to be a few more days before the Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be out on DVD--this might be blasphemy to say, being that I'm also a die-hard Lord of the Ring fan, but I don't ever remember wanting a DVD movie so much before--Anyone else here feel the same way ???

I always waited for the November Extended Edition Release of the LOTR movies, so now I am wondering ... is there going to be an extended edition of Narnia? Cuz if so, I will wait for that.

Actually, I am only fifteen, yes, still a baby in the game of life ( which I think would make you, what, in your twenties or thirties in the game of life? ) Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think its really cool that not only really young ( you are still young, ya know! ) people come on here and talk and stuff!!! :p

thanks, peterismyking! i think it's great you youngsters don't mind a few old codgers joining in the fun!

i think it is weird that some ppl who are like over 30 yrs old go on a forum like this (no offence to anyone present who is over 30 yrs old)

umm i dont think its weird! i think that its wonderful to have older people who can give us youngsters real and helpful advice. I dont think this forum would have survived if it was only young people. ;)

Why do you think this? If it's that Narnia is a children's series, keep in mind it speaks of much deeper spiritual truths. Or perhaps you weren't aware? If you pop over to the Christianity and Narnia forum, you will find a bunch of adult discussion, a lot of it just using Narnia as a leaping off point. There's a lot more to the Forum than Fan Clubs and the Land of Duffers. :)

i know that, ive think ive noticed that lol :p

I will be 34 at the end of next month  Still young but not a teenager anymore. At the LOTR fanboards where I'm a member, there are hardly people younger than 20. The oldest is 67 and the youngest 10. I must admit that although I love LOTR, those boards are not like those here. I love this and I am happy we have a lot of older members here. You don't feel lonely :p
