Quentillian, what exactly prevents you from auditioning for the role. Is it that your American, don't have an agent (yet), or to many scheduling problems to make time to audition for the role, or is it a money issue. 'Cause even though I'm facing many of the before mentioned problems, I still have a plan (and I'm not belittling you, 'cause I think you shouldn't give up, my fellow wannabe). See, I'm making a film and starring in it. My character is somewhat based off of Prince Caspian. We've gotten through a large portion of the pre-production and are planning to film in the next couple of months. With this I'm hoping that I'd have something to work with, when it came to an actual portfolio, as trying to find an agent usually requires you have some work under your belt (i.e. examples of your acting talent). We still have to cast for the film...if you see what I'm getting at. And please don't freak out...I'm not the Spirit of Human Kindness, so I'm not going to ask you to get into my van or nuffin
. Anywho, I still feel that you shouldn't give up hope. Do what PCWB is doing (i.e. audition tape) or perhaps, as we definitely need help, join the muffinside and perhaps you could greatly assist us in our work and have something to show for it. I've just started to go around looking for help on this, so if this gets moved I'll understand, since although it may not fit here, I didn't want to start a proper thread, for as yet inexplicable reasons, perhaps laziness or something. Basically what I'm saying is don't give up, get a plan, and perhaps consider working with you other wannabes. I've got enough control of my pride to step down from my high horse and offer you some assistance (I ain't bragging or being in any way pompous, 'cause I'd seriously rather work with my fellow wannabeites than against them, 'cause together we are strong, and divided we are weak). If one of us gets in, that's the bare minimum to make me at least partially satisfied with the film. BTW. it's a Star Wars fan film, so I don't know how much your still interested. I'm trying to get up a site, but I only have my LJ to use for giving any interested parties updates,etc. on the progress of the film. I'm in Florida, so I don't know if this is feasible for you or not, but if it is, we would really appreciate your help or anyone else's for that matter, as we are merely two persons working on a huge project (from our perspective (Ken and I)). BTW, Ken is the dude working on this with me. He's a friend from high school back in So Cal. He's the co-producer, choreographer, and bunch of other titles that escape me at the moment. So far, I'd be considered to director, writer, costume designer, prop designer, and a bunch of other titles that too escape at the moment. So if your interested...cool...maybe you can help. Same to all other interested persons. Oh...and to get back to topic..."With PCWB amongst our ranks, we grow near to completing the buildup of our forces. When that is complete, we shall sweep down and crush the forces of our enemies and then take a break and consume industrial quantities of turkish delight-flavored gelato, become sick to our stomachs and cross with the survivors of the opposing faction (the Non-NarniaFans Prince Caspian wannabeites, a.k.a the We Love British Pansies for the Role of Prince Caspianites, a.a.k.a the NNPCW's, a.a.a.k.a the WLBPRPC's) and proceed to punish the with a good beating from our replacement ugly sticks, a.k.a. dead possums. At this they will finally consent and as stated previously Victory Shall Be Ours!!!!!!
