Anyone Have a Personal Theme Song?

This thought popped into my head a couple of weeks ago: I wonder if people hear a song and feel like it is the theme song of their life? I'm sure if they do, that it will change off and on as time moves on, or perhaps only part of a song feels relevant to them.

Currently, my theme song is Clumsy by Chris Rice, an oldy but a goody in my opinion.

Pretty much every single word hits home for me, especially the first verse. I feel like I frequently turn around and find myself right back in the same mess I wallowed in when I was a teenager and can't help but say, "What? Here again? I thought I'd moved past all of this!"

Anyway, so I thought I'd ask the question here: does anyone have a theme song? If so, feel free to post it here.

I've got a whole mixtape's worth of them, for different times and aspects of my life. The most difficult assignment for me to make is of anything representing my childhood. But perhaps the state song of my native state will help. I have often sung this in adulthood, any time I re-enter my former homeland.

Sometimes when I set out to "do my duty" in some way, I think of this movie theme. For members who have read my "Alipang Havens" novels, this music also represents the SEALS veteran Wilson Kramer who is a role model for Alipang.

I can at least say that Wood Nymph and I both ARE FOND OF the song "Hotel California." We were mightily impressed by a little girl who multi-tracked herself covering that song. And Wood Nymph, who has perfect pitch, remarked to me that the girl sang on key with such accuracy as very few children can manage.

Okay, _this_ year I have as my theme a TV tune which partially reflects the adventures that Wood Nymph and I face. It is the title music from the slightly history-based Western series "The Young Raiders." A similar mood is available in the title theme of an _absolutely_ made-up Western called "The Adventures of Brisco County Junior."

My personal favourite for this year is this particular heartfelt rendition of 'The Rose of Tralee" Jim died 11 years ago, which makes this performance all the more poignant as it was the same year my Mom died.
