Lutfisk is a type of cod fish, cooked in lye, and eaten by Scandinavian people this time of year. it's really gross, some say it looks kind of like brains. If served at a church, the church will smell for days.

My parents ( who are very scandinvaina) say that it is prepared by preparing the fish on a baord, scraping the fish off and throwing it away, and then eating the board.
