well.......aslan is a beast and gandalf is a wizard..did u see his power in ROTK!! and saruman shot fire down at him and he did not get hurt and he said "saruman ur staff is broken" and it just broke...thats power!!!

I dont' like Gandalf, and I don't like the guy who plays him, so there. Anyway, Aslan is more of a Christ figure, so Christ will win in the end against Satan (not implying that Gandalf is Satan, which he doesn't represent Satan, but I don't know what Tolkien intended for him to represent.)
