Aslan vs. Gandalf

Well since Aslan is God, I think that would put Gandalf, as much as I like him, at a great disadvantage. It's one thing to fight a demon. Quite a different thing to fight God. No contest!

Aslan. He creates worlds, he destroyed the White Which (easily), he can defeat Gandalf who almost died in a fight with a fire demon and was defeated by the Which King of Anghmar when they met in Minas Tirith.
It will be a short battle.

No draw is possible between the Almighty and any mere created being. Gandalf, though Christ-LIKE in character, is not Christ, whereas Aslan IS. Gandalf is one of the Maiar, angelic beings sent by Eru (=God) to serve His aims in Middle-Earth. And it does matter who the character "is," because Aslan IS Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Thus Gandalf, AND Saruman, AND Sauron, AND Morgoth, AND Elrond, AND Galadriel, could ALL gang up against Aslan, and He would swat them like bugs.

EDIT: *thinks harder* nah they're more like an even match... I think there'd be a draw.

Gandalf may be a powerful wizard, but when it comes to fighting against God, even he comes out the loser. Gandalf couldn't even mount any sort of an offensive or defensive successful move against the Son of God. And, I don't believe that Gandalf, if he existed, would even attempt a try. He has a lot more wisdom than that.

I'd have to agree with NM here. Gandalf is a powerful wizard, and a good one, but he's not stupid. Weren't the wizards sent to Middle-Earth by God in the first place? If they were then Gandalf wouldn't even want to fight Aslan since he one of the three persons that make up God.
