Aslan's How - The Rebels of Narnia

455 years after the Pirates disappeared from Narnia...

The Land of Narnia has fallen into darkness... Under the rule of it's corrupt leader, The Wizard Saruman, all of Narnia, Calormene, Archenland and their surrounding areas have fallen beneath the White Hand... Legions of orcs move through the lands, destroying the forests and enslaving the countries' inhabitants, forcing them to work for their Master...

But yet, in the midst of this reign of Darkness, there is yet hope! A group of loyal Narnia rebels still remains, refusing to accept Saruman's rule over their land and determined to take Narnia back! This force is led by two Narnian outcasts; pirates, from a Narnia 455 years in the past: Machia and Fish. Formerly First Mate and Head Carpenter of a pirate ship which disappeared hundreds of years ago carrying their crew with it, these two humans have set up a stronghold in the ancient fortress known as Aslan's How. Gathering any Narnian to them, man or beast, they have declared war on Saruman and all who follow him!

Now it is up to you! The Free Narnians need you! This thread is the headquarters for the resistance against Saruman and his forces. Please Join!! We need all the people we can get!

RULES:
1. This thread part of an ongoing RPG: The G4 RPG. (The longest runnning on TDL; nearly two years.) This RPG includes the threads and groups of The Pirates, The Rangers The Knights(Who are now retired.), and Saruman's army, The Isengarders. (Link coming soon!) Each one of these threads is linked with the other ones. They all represent different places in Narnia and the surrounding areas. Since these threads are in the middle of a war, we will battle the other groups on their own threads.
2. Each person has complete control over their own personal characters. No one but the character's creator, may move that character, or keep them captive, without their creator's permission. They cannot die unless their creator chooses to do so.
3. No godmodding!! Which includes taking over the entire story without letting anyone else have any say, completely controlling another person's character, making up new advantages for yourself in the middle of a battle without first talking about it specifically, or hinting about it fairly broadly somewhere where we could read it.
4. Any character you create must stay in the time span of Narnia, Middle Earth or 17-18th century Earth. No characters from sci-fi, or Star Wars.
5. You are allowed to create personal powers for your characters as long as their power has a weakness of some sort. For example the Pirates can teleport from place to place in small jumps, but if they do it too much they get tired easily, which leaves them weaker in battle.
6. Please don't spam.
7. Have fun!

"Machia, Migle!" Fish called out. "Arr...come on, mates. If we leave now, we can git to the mainland before sunrise... With all o' Saruman's cronies runnin' around, it'd be foolish to try and cross the ocean in daylight..." Using her good left hand, Fish tightened the rope of her pack and slung it over her shoulder.

Migle came out of the makeshift tent that had been propped to house the supplies. She, too, had a pack over her shoulder. "Uh...Arr...Fish, I be ready to go...uh...matey..." she giggled.

After a moment Machia also appeared. His pack contained the medical supplies, though he had also thrown as many apples as would fit into it also.

Fish and Machia each said a quick good-bye to Elindil as Migle went around to all of her ranger friends. Finally, they were ready. Wordlessly, they walked westward and disappeared into the forest...

"This is Aslan's How as we know it," said Migle as the three dropped their packs and sat against a large tree. Fish pulled out a canteen and, after taking a drink herself, passed it along to Migle.

"Arr....I see the mound still be there, but everythin' is jest so...overgrown," Fish said. "450 years ago, this area was considered somethin' o' a shrine."

"Yes, well, for quite some time, Saruman's forces made sure that no one kept this place... If they saw someone near here, they'd shoot on site. Said Saruman ordered this place to be forgotten. Ha! Even he must know that it still contains some of the great Lion's magic!"

Fish's mind wandered back to Sabriel's words. "Why would Aslan be silent fer 450 years? And in the time o' Narnia's greatest need, nonetheless!" she thought to herself. She shook the thoughts from her head.

"Arr...Migle," Machia spoke up, "Do ye know o' any true Narnians 'round these parts? If we be formin' an underground, we need to know where our allies be..."

Migle shrugged. "There's a little cabin about 5 miles south of here. The house was abandoned for years, until an elderly man moved in about 3 years ago. Though...I don't know, he seemed to know an awful lot about Saruman's uprise and Aslan and you pirates... And, oddly enough, when we first met him, he acted as if he had known Elindil for years... Anyway, he's been working on an underground since he came, and I'm sure he'll be glad to have us take over. I'll take you to his cabin tomorrow."

Fish and Machia looked at eachother. "Nay..." Fish said slowly, "it's been 450 years..."

"Elindil still be here," Machia pointed out. "We weren't the only ones who escaped Narnia's aging..."

all right I'm back. again. my character is

Lorelei descendent of Turncoat Mermaid. thus she can breathe under water for an extended period of time but only for like 12 hours at the most and then she can't do it again for a while.

Turncoat mermaid left the pirates because the mermaids had needed her but Lorelei is now returning since Turncoat can't.

ooc- welcome back to the G4, Gondorgirl! :)

ic- "Shh!" Machia quickly hushed them. A rustle had sounded in the woods. Quickly and silently, all three had their swords drawn. Someone was walking towards them.

"I come in peace," A girl called out. "I'm sorry, I've been listening to you for the last half hour. I am a follower of Aslan, as is the rest of my family, and their fathers before them."

"Good enough fer me," Fish said simply.

The girl came out into the small clearing. "Hello," she said, "My name is Lorelei." She smiled, "I believe you know one of my ancestors. They called her 'Turncoat Mermaid'."

"And from her descriptions you are two of the pirates. Fish and Machia I presume? I have come to join you, I figured you'd be needing all the help you could get."

ooc:
Just a note:

Gondorgirl and I will be leaving December 26th on vacation (Disney World!) and will be gone until January 4th... :D

"Elindil still be here," Machia pointed out. "We weren't the only ones who escaped Narnia's aging..."

"Arrr... Well, first thing's first..." Machia said, turning back towards Aslan's How, "We need to findin' the entrance to the caves inside the How and seein' if it be still possible to get in, an' after that to see if they're still usable..."

Lorelei spoke up, "I can show you where the entrance to the caves should be, although I don't know if we'll be able to get through it. The orcs have been setting off gunpowder blasts in the areas around the How a lot more lately, probably hoping to make it the location for their next mine. All these blasts have caused the ground around the How to shift and crumble. If you go around to the west side, you'll see the worst of the damage. But we can always hope that the door, which is mostly on the north side, isn't blocked."

"Lead on then, Lorelei." Said Fish as they all slung their packs over their shoulders once more. Lorelei nodded and led them into the forest. After she'd led them through the tangled woods on what looked like it used to be a winding path for a while, they finally stopped near a place on the north side of the mound... Lorelei pointed to a thicker growth of trees and vines... "The door to the caves should be somewhere in that area... If we can get through those plants we should be able to get in, providing it's not blocked..."

Fish, drew her knife and started to hack at some of the overgrowth... Soon Machia and Migle were at her side, working to clear away as much as they could... After a few minutes of hard work Fish suddenly came upon something... "I think I've found it!" She called as she pulled down another vine, revealing more of the opening in the rock... In a short time, the entire door could be seen, miraculously clear of any rock debris and the walls didn't appear to have caved in at all... Although it was the middle of the afternoon, nothing could be seen in the blackness of the tunnel within... Migle fumbled to light one of the torches she'd brought from the Ranger's camp and handed it to Fish, who was in front... She disappeared inside followed closely by Machia and the other two...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Five miles away, in a small cabin buried deep in the woods, a small group of animals had taken refuge from a band of orcs, rampaging through the area... The owner of the cabin, an old man in finely tailored clothes, known only as "The Prince" stood watch outside the door... Soon the harsh voices of the orcs were heard coming nearer to the cabin... Ugslap and a party of about 15 orcs came around the side of the cabin and spotted the Prince...

"Oy! Yer still 'ere then are ya?" Ugslap said, spit flying in the Prince's face... "Sharkey said yer was still hidin' in these woods somewhere." The Prince tightened his grip on his sword hilt... Ugslap gave a leering smile and then barked to the other orcs... "Right then ya scum! Ya know our orders. We're ter bring him back ter Cair... Tie 'im up!"

"But what about his house?" One of them asked... "Ah, leave it!" Ugslap said, "These woods'll burn soon enough... Sharkey'll see ter that... Just get 'im an' let's go..."

The Prince had been prepared to fight to the death to protect the Narnians sheltered inside, but just as he drew his sword, an orc he hadn't seen, came from behind him and smashed the handle of his axe, into the back of the Prince's head... The Prince fell to the ground and several of the orcs bound him with ropes and hoisted him onto their shoulders. The party set out through the woods...

After they'd traveled for a while and were nearing Aslan's How, one of the orc scouts, the ones with the keenest senses, suddenly held up a gnarled hand... "I smell more humans!" he said in a growl, "They been here recently and headed towards the mound!"

"Then, after that scent!" Ugslap roared, and the orcs started towards Aslan's How, prepared to kill....

"Then, after that scent!" Ugslap roared, and the orcs started towards Aslan's How, prepared to kill....

Migle paused as she entered the cave. "We need to hid our marks," she said urgently, glancing at the small trail they had left in the underbrush.

Machia turned and looked at her. "Arr...do we have time fer that?"

"We'll have less time if Orcs are chasing us through the cave," she said sharply. "They've picked up our scent."

"How can ye be so sure?" Fish asked.

"One, we've been in this general area for far too long. Two, Orcs will seperate and look for prey, which means they should be all around us. But have you smelled any recently? Which means they are probably raiding someplace downwind of us. Which mean, they can smell us. Three, it's a beautiful day, yet there are no woodland creatures to be seen. Now do we have to continue wasting time?"

Immediately the whole group went to work making the trampled and cut underbrush look natural. After a few minutes, Migle was satisfied and they re-entered the cave as the orcs drew nearer.

"Be still!" Lorelai whispered. The orcs had finally caught up, and they could be heard searching the area right outside the cave entrance. None of the rebels dare breathe, but their attempts at steath were in vain. The orcs had found the entrance.

"Gorbag, do you want to be shot?" And orc sneered as he went to enter the cave. The orc who had spoken drew his bow and shot an arrow through the the vines hiding the door. It landed just in front of Lorelai's feet, and she stifled a gasp. In a flash, Migle had strung an arrow and shot back.

The arrow hit a tree at least 15 feet away from any orcs. "Haha, it's too perfect!" Gorbag sneered. "Come out, come out, wherever you are... Now we know you're still alive..."

Fish slowly unsheathed the dagger the rangers had given her and crawled on her stomach back toward the front of the cave. She had hoped to distract them so that Lorelai and Migle could send a volley of arrows. But before she could say anything, she noticed that Gorbag was carrying a hostage. "PotW!" Fish whispered. She crawled back to the rest. "Machia!"

"Aye, I heard ye," he responded. "Well, we can't much attack them now. We'd risk shooting PotW!"

"What if we pretend to surrender? That'd at least git us out in the open.." Migle spoke up.

Fish nodded. "Aye, that's about our only choice. We're certainly not lettin' em take PotW."

The four resheathed their weapons and walked cautiously to the front of the cave. "Arr...we be unarmed," Machia, who was in front, shouted slowly. He put his arms up as the other three filed out behind him.

"Throw yer weapons on the ground," an orc ordered. They all did so, except Fish, whose dagger was hidden behind her back. As the orc moved forward to collect the weapons, Fish teleported behind him and held the dagger to his throat. "Now," she said savagely, I suggest ye release yer prisoner." As she was talking, Machia teleported first to his cutlass, then behind Gorbag. "Let him go..." Machia growled, pressing the tip of the cutlass into Gorbag's back. When Gorbag refused, Machia stabbed him and quickly teleported PotW inside the cave, but not before an orc let an arrow fly and shot Machia in the leg.

"Fish, back into the cave!" Lorelai shouted as more orcs began to ready their bows. Fish released the orc she was holding, grabbed the abandoned weapons, and teleported back into the cave.

"Machia, can you walk?" Fish asked. He gritted his teeth and nodded, though allowed Fish and Migle to carry PotW between them. Moving as quickly as they could, the made their way through the tunnel, not even noticing that no orcs could be heard behind them. Before long, a loud rumbling was heard from behind them.

"No!" Lorelai shouted as she turned and ran back toward the entrance. The others followed, fully aware of what the rumbling had been. The entrance had been sealed; a large rockslide now blocked the only way out...

"Aslan, what do ye want from us?!" Fish shouted out angrily as she tried to clear the pile of dirt and rocks away. But she only succeeded in causing another small landslide that buried her up to her knees. She kicked her way out angrily.

"Fish, that's enough," Machia said gently, "ye know perfectly well that Aslan's seen us through tougher times than this..."

Fish bit her lip and sighed. "Aye, I'm sorry... I know He's plannin' something... I jest...I don't see how we're goin' to git out o' here..."

"Dear Fish," came PotW's voice; He'd just woken up and was watching her carefully, "You've been away from Narnia too long. One thing you seem to have forgotten about Narnians," he chuckled lightly, "is that they are always nosing into eachother's business. So, I daresay a rescue crew will be here shortly..."

As if on cue, a voice came from the other side of the rubble. "Oy, you all ok in there?"

The present day - Five years in Narnia's future...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

It was just after sunrise. Bright beams of light shot through the forest and bathed the eastern slopes of Aslan's How in sunlight. Though the day promised to be clear and bright, the sun would do little to warm the frigid air of the Narnian Winter... A chill wind wind swept through the trees and ruffled the feathers of a lone eagle flying high in the air over the green mound that was the How... It would be a harsh day to meet orcs in battle, the Eagle thought to herself turning her eyes towards the northeast.... May Aslan grant that they wouldn't have to... She could see the Rush river running through the blackened and burnt lands, it's waters polluted from the filth of Saruman's furnaces... Furnaces which even now were releasing black smoke into the air... The Eagle stared hard at the smoke and saw through it, the fortress which once was the beautiful castle of Cair Paravel... But that was many years ago. Now it was the lair of the Wizard Saruman and his armies of orcs.... Over the years, the castle's original towers had been torn down and replaced by tall black towers with many spikes... The tallest of these had four, blade like, spikes at intervals around the top of the circular tower... There, it was said, The Wizard would appear and when he did, lightning and fire would fell from the sky, or so the tales from the Rangers' say... But the Wizard did not appear on his tower that morning... Indeed the Eagle knew that their greatest enemy wasn't even in Narnia... The previous day Saruman had been seen leaving the mainland in one of his ships... It was suspected he was on a voyage to the Lone Islands to seek out anyone of the rebels who dared take a stand against him... Many times during the last five years he'd embarked on such missions, but still the two rebels he was desperately seeking, always managed to evade his grasp...

Far below the Eagle a horn sounded from inside the How...

Machia listened as the last echoes of the call faded away inside the tunnels and then let the horn fall back to his side... All around him he could hear the sounds of many people starting to wake up and make their way to the main hall where he stood... He threw back his dark green hood and shook his hair back from his face... Turning towards the rude wood table, the Pirate, years ago the First Mate, picked up weapons that would have seemed strange to him on board his ship five years ago... He slung a quiver of arrows over his back and reached for his sword belt... On it hung a long straight bladed sword and two knives... Sometimes he wore two swords, but he lent it to a peasant he'd and Fish had met on a trip to Calormene... The boy wanted to join the rebellion and had publicly mocked the Wizard in front of the battalion of orcs stationed in Tashbaan... It had been a narrow escape, but Fish and Machia got the boy safely to the group of rebels who'd taken refuge in a sewer under the city...

Tashbaan and Aslan's How weren't the only places where outposts of faithful fighters had taken a stand against Saruman's control... There was another post in Calormene near the sea; one in Archenland which unfortunately had been raided two days ago and no word had been heard from them yet; The Rangers, Machia and Fish's allies of old were fighting relentlessly in the western woods... Lorelei reported a strong resistance on the island of Galma, and weaker ones on two of the Lone Islands... All of these outposts (except for the Rangers) were founded and created by Fish and Machia... They'd become sort of legends in the surrounding lands (At least to the rebels)... Two fearless Pirates from old who traveled the lands, seemingly at will. Once they smuggled aboard a orc war ship and sailed to the Lone Islands and back without being detected or firing a single arrow. And everywhere they went they brought hope. They showed the people that their lives didn't have to be like this. They told them of Aslan and his love for them. Many rejected them a tried to kill them. But there were also many who believed them and set out to do something about the tyranny of The Wizard...

Just then, in the How the rebels began to come in: First came Lorelei, a descendant of a half mermaid, their island spy, and in charge of supplies... Right behind her came about 4 or 5 fauns who came in yawning and stretching their hairy goat-like legs... Then a group consisting of a variety of animals came in: Mice, moles, rabbits, squirrels, beavers, a doe, an otter and a bear, each chattering to their neighbor. Migle, head archer and master in hand to hand combat followed them... Behind her came the one and only Centaur in the rebellion, Phrixus... Taking up the rear of the party was a dwarf, who was picking at something in his teeth as he walked in... Many of the dwarves had been enslaved by Saruman to work his furnaces, which was a great blow to the rebellion...

Machia surveyed the group with a crooked grin on his face... They had all made a beeline for the table and started in on their breakfasts with much talking and laughing... That was one thing Saruman had never managed to do. Break the spirits of the Narnians. The First Mate fumbled in his pocket for a moment and seconds later brought out an apple... He tossed it into the air and then took a bite out of it as he turned towards the door... The scouts including Fish and PotW would be back soon and someone needed to greet them...

"Machia!" Fish's DV came in loud and clear to Machia, though no one else could hear it; she didn't want to cause a panic. "I think he fou--" but she was cut off.

***Minutes before***

"PotW, watch your back!" Fish shouted as an Orc came up behind the Knight. She herself was battling six orcs, and several more were looking to get in on the action.

"I should have guessed this was a trap," Fish grumbled as she ducked beneath an orc's sword.

The rest of the scouts had already made for the camp, but Fish and PotW had seperated from them to answer a plea for help from a local widow - or so they thought. But it had turned out to be an ambush; The small cottage was riddled with Orcs.

"No!" she shouted as she saw an Orc's blade make contact with PotW's flesh. She saw him fall to the ground.

"What was I thinking?!" she cursed herself under her breath. After all, wasn't she the one who wanted to go alone? She hated feeling like she was at fault. But there was no denying that PotW had strongly advised that all the scouts check out the Widow's report. And Fish had basically laughed at him. "I think we can handle a little old lady," she'd said. And now she regretted every word. How could she have been so naive?

She did her best to fight off the orcs that came and attacked, but there was just no hope. There were too many. She felt herself being stabbed on the back and legs and arms, and was slowly backed into a corner. "Aslan, now's as great a time as any," she silently pleaded. But no reply came. Fish's sword made fatal contact with the Orc nearest her, and for a moment, as he fell, he blocked the way of the other orcs.

"Machia!" Fish's DV came in loud and clear to Machia, though no one else could hear it; she didn't want to cause a panic. "I think he fou--" but she was cut off... She fell to the ground and an orc stood over her, sneering.

ooc- your post was filled with far too much happiness, Machia. I had to make up for it...;) JK!

Underneath his green hood, Machia's face went slightly pale and he felt a sharp pang of panic... He looked quickly around the room, excused himself and stepped out... He walked a few steps down the tunnel so as not to alarm anyone else and the next second teleported outside the mound... He turned on his disembodied voice and tried to contact Fish... "Fish are ye still there? Fish talk to me, what's happening?" There was no answer... "Fish!!" Still there was only silence... Machia began to run towards where her DV had come from, making short teleport jumps at intervals.... A panic he hadn't felt in a long time seized him... What if something terrible had happened to Fish? What if she was dead or... The First Mate shook his head violently, not letting himself think about the possibility... He didn't know what he'd do... They'd been kidnapped and taken to Narnia and then seemingly abandoned by the rest of their crew... It had been five years. For years, everyday they desperately searched the horizon, hoping to see the Dauntless's sails and hear the familar cannons, but nothing came... Their crew had abandoned them... Now the First Mate and Fish were the last two pirates alive in Narnia... And there was no way Machia was going to loose Fish too...

The First Mate came to a sudden stop... He was as close to the area where Fish's DV had originated as he could guess... Trying to slow his breathing down to a normal rate, he began to search for any sign of Fish or the rest of the scouts... And he found a clue the moment he arrived... the air reeked of unwashed orcs and several dead orcs lay outside a small cottage... A quick look inside the cottage confirmed that it was empty... Back outside Machia examined the ground and saw from the tracks that there had indeed been a fight of some kind... And it looked as if someone had been dragged off through the woods by... yes, definitely orc footprints... Someone had been taken by the orcs, most likely to Cair Paravel... Well, I guess I know what I'm doin' today... Machia thought, I'm gonna go raid myself a castle...

He turned back and was about to start back towards Aslan's How in order to get a pack of supplies and maybe another knife or two, when suddenly he noticed a dark shape lying near a tree... He teleported quickly over to the tree and turned the person over...

"Fish! Ah, come on, wake up Fish!" he checked her pulse and was relieved to feel it beating... He reached into his arrow pack and pulled out a small bag of medical supplies... "Come one, Matey, wake up!"

Fish felt like she was drowning. The world seemed far away, unreachable. "Fish!" she heard her name being called, but it was softer than a whisper, and she had no will to answer. But the voice persisted. "Wake up!" No, she whispered angrily back to it. Had she been more aware, she would have heard Machia breathing a sigh of relief.

The gash was across her left shoulder, and went deep. Machia pulled out a small vial of antiseptic and a gauze pad. "Sorry mate, this is going to sting a bit..." Carefully, he dabbed it on the cut. Instantly, Fish's world came into focus. She drew in a sharp breath and opened her eyes as the events that had taken place flooded back to her mind.

"Machia!" her voice was full of panic and she tried to sit up. "He knows! Saruman knows where the camp is! We've got to get-" She gasped as she leaned on her left shoulder, and fell back to the ground.

"The scouts'll be gettin' back to the camp. They'll tell 'em. Now jest hold still. There appears to be some kind o' poison in yer wound. Doesn't look too bad, but we've still got to git ye back to the medic...." Machia dabbed more antispetic on her shoulder, and she winced but said nothing more.

"So...what exactly happened here, mate? Yer a good three miles off the course we plotted..."

Fish gently slapped her forehead. "I know...Arr...How could I have been so stupid? PotW told me--POTW! Machia, where is he?!" By now Machia had nearly finished bandaging her shoulder, and, leaning heavily on her right side, she sprung to her feet. "The Orcs...they knocked him out first... If they left me behind, surely they left him behind, right? We've got to find him!"

"Fish, I was all around here jest lookin' fer ye. I don't think PotW's still around." Seeing that Fish just looked all the more concerned, Machia hurriedly added, "Arr...he probably woke up and is makin' his way back to camp now..." He had added the words to comfort Fish, but even he himself had no confidence in them. He sighed. "Come on, mate, let's have a look around. But we shouldn't stay long. Who knows if the Orcs'll come back lookin' for ye..."

Fish nodded numbly. "Aye, yer right. But we have to at least try to find him..."

***back at the camp***

"Where's Machia?!" The scouts had just returned, and time was of the essence.

Migle, who had been appointed second-in-command, stepped forward. "We were just looking for him as well, but he must have stepped out for a moment. What's the matter?"

"There's a traitor in our midst!"

Migle pressed her lips together. "Darren, I wouldn't go around saying that too loud if you don't have a good bit of evidence - no, proof - to back it up. We don't take kindly to false traitor accusations." She crossed her arms and leaned against the cave wall.

"How else would Saruman know where the entrance to the How is?"

Migle's draw dropped. "What? How did you find this out?"

Darren went on to tell her about how an overheard conversation between Orcs had first tipped them off, and then how they had sent a scout in undercover and were able to find out Saruman's infiltration of the How plans from his fifth-in-command.

"He's going to attack after dark tonight!" The scout finished.

Migle stood straight up. "Has Lorelai been informed? Fish is sounding the alarm, right? Wait...why wouldn't Fish have come straight to us? Where is she?"

"She'll be here before long. She and PotW went to answer another call."

"Bad timing..." Migle rolled her eyes. "Fine, then go tell Lorelai everything you just told me. Tell her to commence emergency plan 2 if Saruman is coming from the north, and emergency plan 3 if he's coming from the south. I'm going to find Machia."

Darren nodded curtly and began walking swiftly towards the center of the How.

"So, did you hear Machia's gone missing again?" Rose said bitterly. She and another rebel, Sarah, had been assigned to pack only what was necessary from the food stockroom.

"Again? Wow. Oh, and did you hear that Fish didn't come back with the rest of the scouts, either?"

"I'm so surprised!" Rose returned sarcastically. "Seriously, though, this is like...the tenth time this month? Always talking about those pirates, as if they are just going to come waltzing back to Narnia someday. As if."

"And Lorelai and Migle do far more in the leadership area. Well of course they would; Machia and Fish are never here!"

"I know! I swear, Machia and Fish will never be rebels. They just won't let go of their pirate sides."

"Ugh, don't remind me. Those stupid accents. Grown adults and they can't even pronounce 'ing'. Honestly."

Migle cleared her throat and entered the stockroom, and Rose and Sarah went red. "Uh...Just about done here," Sarah stammered, shoving some potatoes into a sackcloth, not daring to look up at her leader.

ooc- Hey, as you guys know, the pirates are back in Narnia (YAY! *Dances*). Whereabouts are the rebels located right now?

ooc: Where r my fellow Rangers?

The rangers dispersed awhile ago... you could either try to reunite them, go join the pirates thread (they just arrived back in Narnia from Earth), or join us here at the Rebel's thread. The plot line is kind of confusing, but in a nutshell, Fish and Machia got separated from the pirates and were brought back to Narnia. They created the Rebels to try and overthrow Saruman, and now, five years later, the rest of the pirates have just returned from Earth.

We're at Aslan's How, but Saruman is about to attack us, so we're fleeing... Where do you think would be best?

IC-Meanwhile whilst teh pirates were doin' piratey things in Narnia...back on earth in teh vaguely late 1700s to mid 1800s...

A german officer entered the throne room. The following is translated from German (so y'all can understand it duh :P) "Mein Fuhrer, news from the front."
"What is it?"
"Russia has capitulated to us."
"Sehr gut. Tell Commandant Willheim to institute marial law, a regent will be sent shortly."
"Jawhol mein Fuhrer." The officer bowed and left.
"You know what this means don't you my love? All of Europe is under our control...The only bulwark that remains is Britain...and even now the last british man o war is ablaze in the channel."
"Wonderful!" the women snuggled next to the man said.
"Germany is now a world power...Nay, the world Superpower. Few can now stand before our might."
"Now you'll have more time to spend with me right?"
"Of course my love. I love you more than all the gold on the seas." The man kissed her.

Meanwhile in Scarybucket's den...

"Saruman..." the wizard heard a voice whisper on the wind. He knew whom it was that called his name from across the abyss. His eyes squinted in an annoyed expression as he focused on the ancient text infront of him.

"No...I have not forgotten you." He said annoyedly.
