Aslan's How

Gray looked at the their strange new guest. "Greetings Sutae" she said "And by all means welcome to you and your companion. I am Gray, of the wilderlands of Narnia. Well met indeed to you."

Sutae smiled at Gray, "I am very honored to meet you," she dipped her head respectfully, "May I ask where exactly we are heading or where we are now? I am afraid my companion and I are new to these parts, or at least I am," she glanced around the group, studying their appearance and first impressions. She smiled at each one of them and then stepped back beside her guardian, Mercenar.

"your courtesy is most appreciated Sutae" said Rosy indicating to floor around the fire" please come, sit and join our company. The place we are now is known in these times as Aslan's How- an ancient place full of magic. In the past it has been used for terrible purposes during war, but this night we meet here to sit and talk. We are all strangers of some degree in this land and merely wish to make f ew new friends. Come feast with us and tell of you provenance?"

Rosy tossed a few more twigs onto the dwindling fire until in crackled into new bright life. She warmed her hands against the shimmering flames and looked around at the group, their faces glowing in the fire and moon light.

"Our company has greatly increased!" Thilayn laughed lightly, the fire reflected in her dark eyes. She motioned to a spot beside her, gesturing for the two travelers to sit. "Indeed, do tell us your story and what brings you and your companion to these lands."

Sutae sighed, "Oh, where to start," she worried herself as she sank down by the fire, "My friend and I met dear Arinatha not too long ago and traveled with her to Aslans How. I could backtrack further, but I do nto believe my friend, Mercenar would appreciate it," Sutae glanced up at her friend, but when he did not agree or disagree, she turned her eyes back into the flames, "We have traveled from a place far from here where many things that have happened are unheard of here."
"We do not know that, Sutae, for we do not know this place," Mercenar surprisingly spoke! He actually talked!
Sutae whirled around to stare at him for a moment and then her face broke out into a wide grin, "You are correct, friend. We do not know." She then glanced among the group, "I still don't understand this place. May anyone please introduce me to this place and explain to me why we are here and such?"

Thilayn spoke again. "Many weary travelers such as yourselves have been blown away from their path to this very place. As the moon draws water, there is something that draws us all to this place of history."

"True enough" said Gray "We have all come for our own reasons, and when enough time has passed we will all depart alone again into the worlds we came from. But for now we take respite from it; for now we are all companions."

" Gray and Thilayn speak truthfully to both. The How is not a place of war in this time, but a place for friendship and resting before journeys onward." Rosy warmed her hands on the fire " now, as night draws in would any one wish to tell us a tale? SOmething to while away the hours till the dawn comes?"

"Hello Im sorry for any inconveniace I may have caused but I only just came upon this wonderfull place and was curious as to what was happening"
The young man strolled casually up to the place of discussion with heavy maroon rabes flowing around him and seated himself on the grond.

Gray smiled and cocked her glance. "No inconveniace at all, sir. But tell me, who are you? Will you share a tale with my companions and I?"

Arethel looked up in surprise. "Yes indeed! Things seem to be growing stranger by the moment. Please tell us your tale."

"Arethel!" Thilayn laughed jovially, "It is our company that is growing by the moment! But I interrupt. Tell us your story, fair stranger."

The Prince

"My story while I was young I was told that I could rule over the whole world but obviosly that cant happen to every one. But I'v journyed far and wide pretending I was some one else mabey someday I will be a king but Id be happy with just mabey a Baron or General or something like that. Then while traveling through this area a come across this wierd gathering and thought it might be fun to join. well iv had a short and un-exiting life and thet is really all i have to say." As he stood he cast one more look around and said"mabey I shall returne another night".

Sutae stared at the newcomers in curiosity, her blue eyes shining with a love for adventure and new discoveries, "A noble quest. What is your story, dear sir?" she asked as she cocked her head to one side and focused her attention on the man. Mercenar snorted something her premature boldness, but Sutae ignored him.

He sat down on the grass and started his story. "I never knew my parents and I grew up in the wild land of the north. Then I heard a rumor about some people who might be able to help me in Narnia. So I left my home if you can call it that and came south. Then I came in to Narnia and asked around and a faun told me to come here. So I came here hoping to find an answer to who I am. So The Prince where are you from your name sounds familier?" as laid on the cool grass.

"Hi John I don't remeber you from anywhere but I am from the north and mabey I'v just forgotten" The young "prince" said staring into the sky as if trying to call back a long lost memory.

"Indeed! Our company is growing by the moment; but you must agree that it is growing stranger as well!" said Arethel.
Turning to the others she asked; "I know not what we wait for; think you that others will join us here? For I cannot think that we will stay here many weeks more. When we leave, will we journy together?"

Thilayn quickly stood up. "Perhaps many more, but let us tarry here no longer. Arethel, you have my sword. What course plan you to journey?"
