Awkward Moments for Narnia fans

A few years ago, when LWW came out, my friend and I were completely and utterly obsessed, to the point where we decided to write a Narnia fanfic and put ourselves in it. We'd write it every Spanish lesson in school (we didn't need to listen because we were somewhat good at the language and the brightest in the class), and I'm pretty sure we got caught one day...

And once we had to write about our favourite celebrity in Spanish, and obviously we wrote about William Moseley, since we had a huge crush on him. Our teacher noticed this and asked us if he was our current heartthrob or something :p

I just had another awkward moment happen to me a few minutes ago. I was watching Deck The Halls on HBO and I was looking through the movie channels and I come across Starz. So I started flipping through the Starz channels and all of a sudden I come up with The Chronicles of Narnia. (My TV only calls the second movie that ), but I couldn't watch it because we would have to order the channel. So my dad walks by and I say to him "Dad, Narnia is on Starz right now." and my dad yells out "BUT YOU OWN that movie." and I reply with "SO?!?!?! The same rule applies with Avatar!!!" Then he starts a talk about how renting my boots is like renting a movie that you already own. My cheeks are still red. :o

^LOL that really suxx. :p^

I actually had one just the other day. It was at school. Me and my friend Anne-Marie both are major Narnia fans...and when I got this book club book called The Book of One Hundred Truths, I started looking through it. And I realized one of the character's names was Edmund. So I shot up out of my seat and hurried over to Anne-Marie's and showed her the name, since she was reading a different book than me. She started laughing and rolled her eyes. And, actually, we weren't supposed to be out of our seats. So I quickly sat back down, and this kid that sits next to her who has anger problems asked her, "What, does her book say the same thing yours does?" and he said it in this really snobby way. I felt like going over there and telling him we had different books and also that it was none of his business, but the teacher was watching now so I couldn't. And the even worse part is the person who sits on the other side of Anne-Marie is some snobby "popular" girl who used to be friends with me at the beginning of the year but then ditched me for the populars. And sometimes, like in this case, I like to keep my obsession over Narnia on the DL. But apparently Anne-Marie doesn't. So she said straight out to the guy with anger problems, "No; there was a guy named Edmund in her book. She loves Edmund." And I smacked myself on the forehead as the guy with anger problems started laughing and the popular sneered at me. I felt my face getting redder and redder and I was really glad my crush was sick that day. :D

Well today in science I showed Josh(that's the name of the kid that's been bothering me lately) my Narnia bookmark. So I say "Hey Jooooosh!!! Like my new bookmark?" and then he says "shut up." Then the kid that sits two desks across from me says "You already asked him that," and I was like "Whatever." Then the girl that says next to me says "Is that a Narnia lion?" and I reply with a guilt"...yes." And then she says, "what's his name again?" and I opened my mouth and was about to say "Aslan" when Josh says "Aslan." So all three of them started saying "Aslan, Aslan, Aslan." continuously to me. Then at our lab group, out of the blue Josh says "I am Prince Caspian. Hear me roar!" and I was like "What did you do that for?" and so he starts giving everyone names that are from Narnia characters, but I didn't hear any of theirs because I was covering my ears. Then I asked him what mine was, and he said "The White Witch." and I was like "hey!"
Then at lunch, my friends and I were talking about this cute guy in our pod(my school's arranged in pods.) and how we all thought he was cute but was just plain stupid and my friend who sits next to me said "He is hotter than Peter in the Narnia movies" I screamed right next to her "OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!" because she has a HUGE crush on him and I wasn't expecting her to think that someone else was hotter than him. So she just stares at me like o_0 and then says "Okay.... I wasn't expecting that reaction." and then my friend who was sitting across the table said to her, "She loves the Narnia movies."

Still, no other guy will be as hot as my Caspian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 :D :D :D :D

Well i've slapped pictures of Joe Jonas and Zac Efron before.
LOL crazy lady on the loose!!! :D
I've KISSED pictures of Ben Barnes before!!!!!!
Ooh! I've kissed pictures of Nick Jonas before!! But only 'cause it was for a dare and he was just about the only kissable poster on my wall. ;) LOL

Anyway, at my school, both of the sixth grade classes are going on a trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (which really isn't that far away from us). And it's a six hour ride there and a six hour ride back; and the teachers have set up this whole thing where we get to choose the movies we wanna watch on the bus. And my friend Anne-Marie isn't going on the trip, so she told me that I would have to handle the whole business of the Narnia movies. So my teacher was passing around this paper for us to each write down the names of two movies that we wanted to watch on the bus. And I was the second one to get the paper, so everyone but one person had to see that I had put, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian". And when the teachers had gotten everyone's suggestions they would go throught the list and choose the movies that were appropriate and let us vote from them. You know, no PG-13 or R-rated movies, just G and PG. So later, me and Anne-Marie were doing this project and we were talking about all the movies that people had chosen and which ones that we would've wanted to see, and this snobby girl says, "Who put down the Narnia movies?" right to me, expecting me to shrug and say I didn't know who. And I just slowly raise my hand and squeak, "Me." And me and Anne-Marie just look at each other and burst out laughing and the snobby girl looks surprised. :D LOL.

Oh, something similar happened to me! On my Pay It Forward trip I was freaking out so much about Narnia that we actually got to watch LWW on the way home!! And it wasn't even my idea!! When I kept asking my leader if we could watch Narnia(I had brought both of my DVD's along with me as well as a few others,) he kept saying no. Then one day, while I was building furniture as part of a service project, my group leader comes up to me and asks me if I wanted to watch Narnia on the way back because we were leaving for home right after we got done building furniture. I was shocked, but I immediately said yes!! Though, I really wanted to watch the second one on the way back, but he said that if I wanted to watch it on the way home we had to watch the first one. Still, it rocked!!! The funny thing is, I actually brought my portable DVD player along with me so that I could watch LWW on the way there while everyone else was watching Wall*E(overrated.), so I got to watch LWW both on the way there and back!! :D

I sort of witnessed someone else's awkward moment. I was at a local garage sale, and somehow found occasion to bring up the subject of Narnia. The father of the family admitted to being a Narnia fan, but seemed to have experienced disappointment in trying to get his sons to read the books. I did what I could to help, by telling the sons about this forum.

READ "SWEPT AWAY!"

LOL it was sooooo funny one time when me and my sis Kathleen were watching LWW on DisneyXD we had an awkward but VERY FUNNY moment. It was at the part after Aslan dies on the Stone Table and Susan and Lucy get that leaf-lady to go tell the guys, and after she tells them they're outside the tent with that centaur and they're like, strategizing battle plans or something? Well it was sooooo funny 'cause I was just innocently watching it and Kathleen just all of the sudden goes, "Edmund just checked out that centaur!!" and I burst out laughing and spilled the popcorn all over the ground. So then we got out my rented DVD version of LWW and we fast-forwarded it all the way to that same exact part and watched him check out the centaur over and over again!!! It was hilarious. :D:D:D:D

okkkkkkkk that was wierd.

Well Collin was playin the game of "do you love this or this" and he said "Do you love Narnia better,or Celtic Thunder?" I avoided the question.:o
