I own both of these, and have enjoyed them a lot. Although much of the material is about the director, screenwriters, and main cast, there are chapters about the make-up artists, set designers, creature-creators, etc. I have enjoyed the detailed information about the behind-the-scenes aspects, as well as some of the humorous anecdotes included.

Howard Berger, who did the special makeup effects, went on to work with Sam Raimi, work on Oz The Great and Powerful, and The Walking Dead, his work on the Walking Dead makeup won him an award!
