Alex walked over to one of the horse stalls. On the oak gate, was the name Talien. He opened it and stepped inside. A pair of navy eyes met his own. The prince laid his hand on the buckskin's snout. "Wanna go for a ride boy?" The horse whinned in reply. Alex saddled the horse in his mahogony colored tack and took the reigns in his hand. He led Talien out of the stable and past the gate. When the guards were out of sight Alex mounted the horse and set out toward the Hamotta forest, far on the other side of the village. Talien was running at a brisk pace when they passed a simple farm near the mouth of the woods, as the sun was setting. The stallion's perfectly shoed hooves made and outstanding rythm on the packed road. The prince paid no notice. He was too busy keeping a keen eye on the nearing tree-line. He suddenly had a random urge to move faster into the woods. Alex nudged his boots into Talien's sides. The couple darted strait through the tree-line, past the trees and the bushes and other blurring objects. A muffled voice sounded behind them. Alex pulled Talien to a halt and made him turn around. He led the stallion back to where he found a little boy and a woman- Lacara! Alex jumped down off of Talien's back and ran to her side. "Miss- Lacara, right?" he said akwardly.
*****Return next time to hear Lacara's response*****
