I watched the first 30 seconds of the Locked In trailer...I hope I can go watch it. Its a PG-13 right?

Just watched the Locked In trailer...what is it with Ben's drive to play confusing and insane characters huh?
Have you noticed his films have really weird characters that are either tortured souls or something like that?
I'm not counting stardust really but look:


Cobakka: Ornery little backpacker who steals and rips off people
Prince Caspian:Orphan,confused,wants revenge
John whittaker: He's GREAT at the beginning but then he turns into this betrayed husband of a skank
Dorian Gray: Ummm,we all know why thats tortured
Josh: Crazy father of a ADORABLE 8 yr. old,who is mad at his wife??

Killing bono doesn't count either.

Anyone else think this is strange? Ben's fillms have ALWAYS been either too creepy or confusing. Looks like he gets to keep his shorts on for Locked In though(he learned his lesson.)
He's gonna have ONE busy weekend though,hope he wins an award!

Which trailer? I think there are 4. And by the looks of it I don't think that's his wife he's angry with. Looks to me like she was someone on the side and now his wife is mad at him. And I wouldn't get my hopes up about him keeping his shorts on. Just sayin'.

I think Ben likes to play psychos because he was raised by shrinks and therefore has a desire to get inside the minds of others. What better way to do that then to play them? I think he stated something along those lines in an interview once.
 
That makes more sense...problem is I always think he IS insane and then when that wears off I love him to death again.

Nah,He learned his lesson...he won't do it full again. I found out how they film it without doing it...the answer? black shorts.

SOME woman he is mad at...hmmmmm that trailer has had me mixed up for hours. I need to watch the epic epic of epic epicness TWELVE times to get the insanity of LI off NOW!

NOte to Ben if he ever finds this:

I dunno the first one?

It started out with Ben in the car with this guy saying "Okay I'm gonna stop asking about your place,"

then it paneled to him kissing his wife in the hall,then it paneled to them all in the car "JOSH!" Screamed his wife and the car crashes.
Then its the hospital scene and he's all upset.

But at one point he is yelling at a woman saying, "SAY IT! SAY YOU RAN MY FAMILY OFF THE ROAD!"
Response: "I didn't,you ran us off the road yourself,"
Ben: "SAY IT!" Backs her into wall.


Maybe I'm mixing it up..but it was something along those lines. Kind of makes you scared to ACTUALLY piss him off,because at 6 feet 1,he could kill you.
 
I don't think he's the killing type and i'm pretty sure that's the other woman and not the wife he's kissing in that seen. I found the links to all four but they're not exactly family friendly
