I love them all!!! I love what Aragon says at the last one! I love the whole thing of the one before the gates of Minas Tirith!! And I love the whole heros and elves and no chance at Helm's deep!! Oh and I love all the weapons!!!
 
Yes, but, if you do not fight a war, freedom will be lost, and no one will want to live anymore. Then talk about people dying.
 
Like some people here in the US want us now to have a large army but how will we defend ourselves against attacks like 9-11?
 
Wars and battles can be necessary. That doesn't make them good. Victory is sweet. That doesn't make the pain needed to gain it good. Tolkien speaks of the wrongness of studying the art of war just for its own sake.

Sometimes I wonder if that's why I almost sympathize with Eustace in VDT... "I'm a pacifist, I don't believe in fighting!"

If you don't believe in fighting don't pull my daddy's tail...:p
 
Again, I never said it is wrong to go to war. Sometimes you have to. That does not necessarily make battles a good thing. There is a distinction one has to make.
