Yeah, great choices Twilight! (And welcome to the forum. Nice name choice. Great minds... ;) :D )

Return of the King is my all time favorite movie. It wraps up an epic that has so much to say about life, and ends it in a totally touching way.
After that I'd say Fellowship of the Rings, Two Towers, and then probably Nicholas Nickleby. I'm in love with Smike from that movie. Not many people have seen it, but it stars some of the best british actors anywhere, and Jamie Bell really steals the show as Smike.

I also love Pride and Prejudice, and Star Wars and The Emporer's New Groove, and The Incredibles. The Incredibles is such an amazing movie. Romantic and funny, and exciting and touching, and it's a CARTOON!! There HAS to be a sequel!!

Excuse me, but...did I see the equation, "Vampires=Love"??? Parasitic, predatory FEEDING ON PEOPLE is love? If that's love, I hope I never see hate!

Getting back to movies, though: I have a candidate for the best old kung-fu movie ever. It was originally titled "Heroes of the East," but has been distributed in English-dubbed form under the title "Challenge of the Ninja." It's about a Chinese man (I believe the lead actor's name is Liu Chia-Liang) who accepts an arranged marriage to a Japanese woman, only to find that she has not shaken off her anti-Chinese bigotry. When she picks a fight with him and he defeats her, she runs off in a huff and causes a group of male Japanese martial artists to challenge the hero to a series of one-on-one contests in various types of armed and unarmed fighting. When the wife realizes that her action could potentially cause her husband's death, she is filled with remorse, and comes back to root for him; she's even willing to fight for him, but he's determined to fight his own battles. He ends up winning all of his contests, but not in a ridiculously one-sided way. NO ONE DIES in the whole movie, but there's plenty of terrific action.
