I like Bree more. Mainly because of the change he goes through.

Shasta & Bree and Aravis & Hwin kinda go through opposite experiences on their journey to Narnia.
Shasta starts off as a innocent bumbling child who Bree runs off with and takes adantage of. He grows in confidence as he discovers what he can do.
Aravis starts off confident and rather snooty and used to getting her own way. During the journey Hwin starts taking more of a role, and Aravis learns that she can't always have her own way and has to back down a bit.
Just an observation

So far, I like them both for different reasons. Bree's temperament is quite understandable considering how he was forced to leave Narnia and longs to go back. I think anyone who had spent some time in Narnia, let alone were from there, and had to leave, not by choice, would miss it terribly.
