Bridge To Terabithia

I CRIED IN THAT BOOK! It was so sad. If you want some good books by Kathrine Patterson, I've read almost all of them.

Come Sing Jimmy Joe
Lyddie
Same Stuff as Stars...and others I can't remember.

Alrighty..I'll check it out :D It sounds interesting.

My teacher read that to my class when I was in sixth grade! The only thing I remember about it is it being very sad at the end...hmm, I should read it again sometime.

I know another magical world, the Bridge to Terabithia. I never read the book though, I'm waiting for the movie.

Other lists of magical world(you may not know some):

Halloweentown- Halloweentown
Coventry- Twitches

i hate that book....i hate how it ends....

I just finished that book. It was so unpredictable. It's so sad. but they changed the movie so it's going to be alot different. why do you guys watch the movies instead of reading the books, though?

i have the book from the library, but havent read it yet, so im trying not to read too many of the posts here until i do so that i dont ruin it for myself, but from the trailer, it looked really good, hence the reason why i am going to read it, but i am excited! i am trying to read both that book and Eragon before their movies come out.
I LOVE Halloweentown and Conventry. Especially Coventry, which rocks my SOCKS!!!

It is a good book, you should read it. But the story is not set in a "magical world", so to say, but in our world. no one in the book does anything that would be considered magical in the sense of fairytale magic.
anyway, the story is about two normal children in a normal town who become friends and play make believe in the woods together. they name their make believe world Terebinthia, after an island in one of them's (Leslie's) favorite books, Chronicles of Narnia.

sorry, i haven't read this since third grade, but it was very good and very sad. anyways, thats what i remember of it. hope that helps.

i just noticed that i kinda sound mean in that last thing. sorry, i didn't intend to. :(

Recently read the book and just saw the movie (came out Feb 17 I think). I liked the book, and I thought the movie did a good job of being faithful to the book, but also made Jess and Lesley's make-believe play come to life and seem real. It's a good story, but sad.
