Juno Bliss sighed. Her vocal instructor, Miss Norburry, was late, as usual. Juno always had to wait, but now she was getting antsy. Miss Norburry had promised to help her prepare her audition piece for the new Broadway show, Colors. The show was the entire reason Juno and her brother Michael left their father in Belfast and came to New York to live with their mother. Juno hated New York, and missed Ireland's rolling green hills so much; Michael was happy with the new scenery, of course. The only thing he missed was his girlfriend Lauren.
But theater was Juno's life, and the small community theater she'd been a part of in Belfast, she knew, was lacking something she needed.
Risk.
She had not yet known rejection in her life with theater, and Juno knew that if she ever wanted to do something with her life that involved the theater, she would have to face rejection many times. So, when she learned that the new show, Colors, had characters from all over the world - including Ireland - Juno jumped on the chance and her father sent her and Michael to NYC. She'd been there for two months, and was unbearably excited to audition.
As she sat in the lobby and tapped her foot against the sickly green carpeted floor of the Norburry Music Training School of New York, otherwise known as Norburry, Juno thought to herself, One more day. That's it, Juno. You can do it. One more day...just wait.

Anna went to school when she saw a girl by herself " Hm that's weird I haven't seen her before have I?," she asks herself, she went over to her " Hi there," she said in her Italian accent

Juno glanced up at the girl. She was pretty and she spoke with an Italian accent.
"Hi," Juno replied. "Have you, er, seen Miss Norburry? She's late...again..."

Just then, Miss Norburry - a tall, stern-looking woman - came into the lobby. "Miss Bliss? Ah, yes, there you are," she said, when Juno stood. "Come on, then. We ought to get started." Juno waved good-bye to Anna and followed Miss Norburry up the stairs and to one of the private lesson rooms. They did some scales, with Miss Norburry on the piano, and then Juno took out the sheetmusic for the song she was using to audition, Wine Red by the Hush Sound. She had loved this song since her friend in London, Sammy, told her about the band after a visit to America.

Cara walked out of the appartment she shared with her father. She headed down the street to the theater, carring her back pack. Her father's boss had told her that there were going to be auditons for Colors at the theater. And her father had insisted that she try out. Cara sighed and kept going. She loved singing, but not infront of people. Cara finially got to the theater. She stood outside for a moment then opened the heavy wooden door and walked inside. She was an hour earily but she wanted to practice.

Miss Norburry glanced up at Juno. "Your audition is in the morning?"
Juno nodded. "Yes. Eight o'clock, at the Broadway Theater."
"Good," Miss Norburry said. "Are you prepared?"
Jane smiled, knowing the trick, and said dutifully, "No. Not as prepared as I can be. No one is ever as prepared as they can be."
"Good," Miss Norburry repeated, and pressed the first key. "Now...shall we begin?" Juno nodded, and as Miss Norburry played, she began singing,
Who shot that arrow in your throat,
who missed the crimson apple?
It hung heavy on the tree above your head.
This chaos, this calamity, this garden once
was perfect; give your immortality to me,
I'll set you up against the stars.
Gloria, we lied, we can't go on, this is the time
and this is the place to be alive...
At the end of the song, Miss Norburry turned her sharp, brown eyes on Juno. The shadow of a smile flickered across her thin lips and she said, "Miss Bliss, I do believe you are prepared."

Cara looked around the theater, it looked so..empty. She shrugged and dropped her back pack and coat on one of the seats and walked up to the stage. She got on it and looked back at the seats, she tried to imagine them full of people. "I can't do this, I cant sing infront of houdreds of people." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She started singing, imagine that she was in Austalia again, with her mom and dad, walking on the beach.

Anna was walking to her class when she bump into a girl " Oh, sorry may I help you with something?," she asks, putting her bag on her shoulder then look at her watch.

Cara smiled slightly, "no, I'm just practicing before an audition." she looked around the theater was still empty. "I'm Cara."

She shocked her hand " I'm Anna you way early for the addition would you like to come to class with me?," she said, with a giggle.
