Calling all Relient K. ppl!!!!!

^Oh, you don't like their newer songs? I think they're amazing...they just keep getting better and better! :D

I love that hidden track. I'll be sitting there in silence, then all of a sudden, "Pepperoni!!!! And it was all (and it was all), just a dream (just a dream)..." :p And I nearly jump out of my skin. I can't help but smile at the part that says "Duct tape wrapped around my feet, held hostage before the big track meet, fourteen feet from eighteenth street..." :p I can just picture that in my head, and it's hilarious. I also love the part, "Well I've learned to respect your silly shoes. Then respect for you is something we won't lose...You say I'm boring but I say hardly. Let's get together and have a pizza party! Pizza party! Pepperoni!!!" :p RK is hilarious. Definitely the funniest band I've ever heard. And the thing that makes them so unusual is how they can have hidden tracks like that and songs like "Gibberish" on the same CD as songs like "I Am Understood?" and "Getting Into You". They can combine silliness and seriousness unlike anyone I've ever seen before. It's incredible.

Lol, I forgot the "PEPPERONI!" thing! "Gibberish" is an amazing song! I read in an interview with Matty T that the words actually mean something, but they're the only ones who know. Hmm....:D

The humor and one-liners in their songs are hysterical, and the meaning behind all of it is equally incredible. Thiessen is a musical genius, and I used to get upset and violently argue with anyone who said differently, but I'm not a drooling fangirl anymore....lol....just a regular, calm fan. :)

I actually don't like "Gibberish" that much. It's my least favorite song on the CD, so I usually skip over it when I'm listening to that CD. I guess I'm in a hurry to get to "Over Thinking" and "I Am Understood?", because I really love those songs. :p

Matt Thiessen is amazing...I love his voice! He and Jon Foreman have my favorite voices. :)

The "Overthinking" acoustic version is actually really pretty. It's on the Apathetic EP (the one with the Narnia song :)) The "Which to Bury, Us or the Hatchet" acoustic is funny! Its like, "Im trying to be hardcore, but this is acoustic, la la la..." :D

I don't have the Apathetic EP. :( I've never heard either of those acoustics. I do have the Narnia song on their new Christmas CD, though, and when I preordered "Five Score and Seven Years Ago", I got a free "Mmhmm" record (actually it's 2 records, I think) which also has the song "Apathetic Way to Be" on it, which I assume is on the Apathetic EP. How many songs are on that?

1. The Truth
2. Apathetic Way To Be
3. Be My Escape Acoustic
4. Which To Bury, Us Or the Hatchet Acoustic
5. Overthinking Acoustic
6. In Like A Lion (Always Winter)
7. The Thief

It's actually a pretty good little album. The acoustic songs are done really well. :D

Well, yeah, I guess it will be hard to find it in stores now that the Christmas season is long over. :p But somewhere online would probably still have it, like amazon.com or somewhere.

I really want to get that Apathetic EP. When it first came out, I kept meaning to get it, but I never did. Then when I finally went in the Christian bookstore to actually buy it, they didn't have them anymore. I guess that's what I get for waiting so long.

Oh, you should definitely get it! It's amazing. :D The new songs are worth buying it even if you already have "Deck the Hall, Bruise Your Hand" (in my opinion).

LOL,The Christmas CD was very funny..I loved the inside photos too, esp. the guy with the angel wings...:p:p

Apathetic Way To Be is reeeeaaally awesome:D:p...

I do have that one song on my "Mmhmm" records, and I have the Narnia song on my Christmas CD, but those are the only two songs from the "Apathetic EP" that I've ever heard.

Yeah, the photos in the Christmas album are really funny. So is the hidden track. :p
