CharnTim II (Please Do Not Delete)

CT: Ugh, I'm no more crazy than thou.

Olorin: You've read Mary Poppins?! Sweet! I've like met no one else my age who's read it. (One of my older sister's read it out loud to me and my little sister). But I kind of liked the book--I don't think I ever completely associated movie and book together; I never really thought of the movie as inspired by the book. Whatever.

Holes movie and book are very close to each other, and the movie is probably as good as the book, but not better.

this thread's super confusing. I don't get it. Everytime I come back someone's tlkaing aoubt sometihng new nothing to do with the Awesome Charn Tim who is the first perosn I met when I joined teh forums :D Does anyone like Alice in Wonderland? I've read the book, and I tried to read through the loking glass but either got bored or it was stalling to much so it made it un-fun....that word is in MY dictionary...:)

I've read Wonderland! I think Lewis Carol was the first Duffer, all his stuff is so completely random...

'Twas brillig and the slithy toaves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe
All mimsy were the borogroves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that snatch,
Beware the jubjub bird and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!

He took his vorpal sword in hand
Long time the mangsom foe he sought,
So rested by the tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two, one, two,
And through and through the vorpal blade went snicker-snack,
He left it dead and with its head he went gallumphing back.

And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy,
O frabjous day, calloo callay,
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toaves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe
All mimsy were the borogroves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

You see what I mean... :D (I actually did that whole poem from memory!)

I read it quite a while ago... but yeah, I didn't like it as well as the movie. I thought Mary Poppins was too 'snooty' in the book, if you get my meaning.

Ah, yes, my older sister says the same. She did annoy me a bit more in the book than movie. But I loved that crow.

Slp: Unless you're talking about BBC's version of Narnia, I don't want to hear that it was close.

Yes, I'm EXTREMEMLY picky. And the computer graphics were good. And it wasn't bad as a whole, but to call it Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe was an insult to my intelligence.

Lots....Peter...Susan...I hated their characters in the movie.

Do you really want me to go into all the details?

The Cantaurs, bleck. The Minotaurs. Bleck-bleck!

Honestly, RF, what SPECIFICALLY was wrong with it?

*Sigh*
