"Start looking for a light switch." she said once they reached the end of the stair.

Eden rushed the rest of the way down the stairs, nearly tripping also. She found the light switch at the bottom of the stairs and helped Charlie up.

"Yeah," charlie said once she got up. "thanks. What was that? she asked looking at the ground. there was nothing there, but she knew she triped over something.
