"It wouldn't be vain. I wold be dying for my friends." Charlie told Eden. Then she turned to Lily. "I have to get some ice first. I'll be back."
And htne she continued down the stairs.
 
Eden followed.
"It would be in vain because they wouldn't want it. They wouldn't USE it and you would have died in vain. Why do you refuse to see this?"

Lily agreed with Eden. "If you died, and the spirits said that wouldn't get us out, you'd be dead and we'd be stuck here anyways. Wouldn't you rather get out of here alive?"
 
"Because! The spirit in the basement said that thats what they've wanted. thats why people have died in e house before, becuase they waited and waited. I don't want every one here now to suffer!" Charlie said as they reached the kitchen. Charlie didn't dare open the fridgerator so she just pushed the ice button and a couple clean ice cubes fell out.
 
"It said that that would be last resort. We still have other options. We could... uh... sacrifice Mark! that'd get us out of here! You don't need to die."
 
"How should I know? I've never read- What ghosts want when they've trapped people in a house and made people think that they need to die!
But they might want something besides life. Besides, Victoria said they were good."
 
"You know what? You're never going to agree with us because you are so stubborn! you REFUSE to look at the other angles! You are suicidal!"
Eden stormed out of the kitchen and back up to Charlie's room.
 
Lily's eyes widened at Eden's storm. "Charlie, please just don't do anything yet, okay?" She startled herself when she realized tears were streaming down her cheeks. "Killing yourself won't solve anything. When there are people who care about you, killing yourself just gives them more grief. Believe me, I know."
 
Charlie sighed as Eden left. She knew she should have told people more about herself before they started assuming things baout her, like most people did.
"I'm not suicidal, I just want my friends safe." she said to her self quietly.

"But you're not saving Eden by killing yourself," Lily whispered, still crying.
 
"If I can get everyone out of here safely, then I am happy. I know it will work. Thats what a sacrifice is! You people and my brother are the only people who would do this for me and I have to do it for you." Charlie said.
