OOC: Technically Nadie likes your guy...no one likes Jake yet.

IC: "Oh, everything is just fine." Nadie said quietly.
 
"Long story." she said when Jason walked up.

"I got a girlfriend! I finally asked Kara out!" Jason exclaimed grabbing Nadie and twirling her around in the air.

"I'm so happy for you cuz." Nadie said hugging him.

Groceries
Cake Pans
Hand Mixers
Mixing Bowls
Toothpicks
Wire Cooling Rack
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2:
Grease and lightly flour two round 8-inch cake pans and set aside.

Step 3:
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a small mixing bowl and set aside.

Step 4:
Beat butter or margarine with a hand mixer at medium speed for 30 seconds in a large mixing bowl.

Step 5:
Add sugar and vanilla and beat well.

Step 6:
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 7:
Add dry flour mixture and milk alternately, beating on low speed after each addition until just combined.

Step 8:
Pour batter into prepared cake pans.

Step 9:
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

Step 10:
Cool cakes in pans on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

Step 11:
Remove cakes from pans and cool thoroughly on racks.

Step 12:
Frost with your favorite frosting.

"I better go. Bye you two." Jason said walking away.

"Bye Jay!" Nadie called. Nadie's phone wrang. She started to sing her ringer. (which was Heaven by Brian Adams) Then she put it on silence. "Shall we continue?" Nadie asked.

"Got em." Jake said filling up his arms.
