The party treys pizza, chips, desert, and soda started filling up the table and bar the divided the kitchen from the dinning room.
“You really out did yourself.” Nick said as he cruised around the table looking at all the different flavors of everything.
“Nah, you outlawed booze so I had to compensate. See when guests are drunk they don’t care how great your verity it but when they are sober that is a different story.” Ceagin said with a laugh. “Ok, Nick, I was kidding but if looks could kill I would be dead.”
“Yah, why you have to be so darn strict on the drinking thing.” Chez added as he chomped away on some chips.
“For one thing my friend I would hate to se you cuffed and off to jail for drinking while not yet 21. Seriously, Chez, you want to face that again?”
“Dude, it had nothing to do with drinking.” Chez spat defensively
“Yah the records might have something to say about that.” Nick stated
“Oh, My…you are as bad as all them Nick. You won’t just let things die!”
“ I care about you Chez. I don’t want to see you crash and burn!” both of them were on the brink of yelling.
“Ok both of you time out. Geeze jump down his throat Chez why don’t yu.” Ceagin said now refereeing between the two, “And Nick why do you have to rub salt in the wound.” He walked a little distance and then back, “Come on guys seriously. The year hasn’t even started and you are already ready to duke it out. But honestly I have to agree with Nick, you’ve got to watch it Chez.”
“you would take his side.” Chez spat. Setting his jaw he turned and walked into his room slamming the door behind him.
“Why does it always have to be about sides?” Nick asked
“And why do you always have to bring it up?” that was a rhetorical question. Ceagin didn’t want an answer he just wanted it to end.
