But I'm no expert you should talk to Nick or Chez about that." he said with a playful nudge on the shoulder.

Adina looked in her mirror, "ruby red," she said. "why so many questions?"
 
Nick smiled a huge grin, "Just something I wanted to do that's all. It's not much and probably really stupid but this is my impulsive and weird side coming out. Anyway sorry I was just going on, hold on," he pulled the phone away from his mouth but voices could still be heard, "Yah whatever," nick said.
"Nick has a gi-" the other voice was cut off.
"Ok quit do I ever drive you up the wall." silence, don't answer that." nick brought the phone back to his mouth, "Sorry about that Adina, so I'll see you in an hour." Nick didn't hang up he wanted to hear her response. Would she think him a total psycho?
 
no response. he took a deep breath, well Nick you may have blown it. he thought.
"So what was all that about Nick?" Chez asked as he plopped down on the couch and turned on the TV.
"Nothing, just going out to dinner with a friend."
"Yah ok Nick you can try and make yourself believe that but you won’t fool me." Chez said still flipping through the channels.
“Come on Chez. Lay off please.” Nick didn’t want to discuss it with him. He had been in a very strange mood all day and Nick was beginning to like his shelled up I hate the world attitude better than this. “hey Nick I’m going to the store. I’ll be back in a bit.” Nick said before leaving the condo
 
Adina looked at her phone, she had ment to put it on speaker phone, but she had acsedently hung up. Adina hit herslef, I'm so dumb, she thought. She called Nick back.
 
"Hey Nick," Adina said, "I'm really sorry for hanging up on you, I was trying to put my phone on speaker phone, but I pushed the wrong button." I sound so dumb, she thought.

Sarah noticed how the two avoided that certain topic. She fought with herself about pressing it, or letting it be. In the end she decided to leave it alone. "Who are you calling a yank?" She said to Ceagin teasingly. "I'm from Florida. Born and raised thank you very much." She smiled.

“oh,” Nick didn’t exactly know what to say, “Uhm well, I’m glad you weren’t haning up on me because that would be a really bad sign.” He said with a chuckle. Wow way to go Nick sound like a moron why don’t you

Adina laughed a little, "dont wrry, I wouldn't hang up on you." Adina looked at her book, "I have to go, I need to finish reading this chapeter."
 
"oh yah and I have some last minute things to do. see ya in a bit." and with hte he hung up. pulling up to the shop he smiled. I really hope she dosen't think I am way over the top.
 
Nick carefully looked though the glass cases nothing stood out to him. Not to fancy and not too dull eh thought then he spotted something. Perfect
"Excuse me can I look at that one." he said pointing to the right-hand top corner of the case. Obligingly the woman opened the cas and handed it to him. he liked it and he hoped she would too. then he thought of something. whipping out his phone he snapped a picture of it and wrote the text: 4 the girl I told u about. well? and then hit send. a few minutes later his phone rang, "Hello?"
"So Nicky going all out huh?" Katy teased
"Do you think it's too much?" he asked
"No. I think she will really like it. it's a wonderful ruby color nice choice."
"Thanks Katy I don’t know what I would have done without you."
“No prob. Hey tell me how it goes.”
“Sure, thing.” He hung up and looked at the clerk, “I’ll take it.”
 
Adina finished the chapter, she looked at the clock, twenty minutes, she thought. I'm nervous. she stood up and walked around her room again.
 
Sarah stared absent-mindedly at the sky. So many things ran through her head at that moment. Why are Ceagin and Kiera acting so weird? Why wouldn't Ceagin tell me what was the matter? What could it be? A soft sigh escaped her lips as she brushed the hair out of her face.
 
Nick Tightened his tie and looked at himself in the mirror. Well slugger this is as good as you are going to look taking a deep breath he stepped out of the bathroom.
"Man you cleen up nicely." Chez commented with a jesting grin.
"Hwy if you weren't so obnoxious some girl might like you...no wait you just tell them all to stay away." Nick snapped he wasn't in a mood to be teased he was having a hard time breathing as it was. his stomach was all tied up in knots and he was driving himself crazy.
"Sorry, man but you know my reasons." Chez stated.
"Yah and I think they are lame." Nick hung his head, "Listen I am really sorry for bighting your head off. I don’t mean to."
"Yah whatever." Chez retorted. Nick didn't know his real reasons if he did he wouldn't push so hard. Chez shook his head. Would life always be like this? he wondered.

occ: he could you post a picture of Adina's dress when they see eachother so I sort of know what she will look like and I'll do my best to post what Nick loocks like

"so you two want to go see something else we have been here for almost three hours." ceagin said stopping for a break.

Nick took one last breath and got into the car he stuck the keys in the ignition and just sat there listening to the car purr. Moving it into gear he slowly rolled across the campus turning heads as he went. Then he pulled up to Adina’s place got out one more deep breath and knocked.
