Kirsti went along with it all. While they were riding, a question popped into her head. "Hey Lucas, have you got a girl?"

"I know, its terrible. I don't care what my father says. I'm not marrying that Duke or whatever he is!" Elizabeth said stubbornly of her father.


Lucas glances back at her, wondering why she might have asked her that. "You think I've had time for that lately?" he said, and prodded the horse faster until they reached the town.

"Excuse me," Lucas said loudly as he walked into the first bar on their left. "Has any one had any notice of Princess Elizabeth in town? Any one at all?" He asked. Every one looked too scared to answer, that maybe they would be killed or something.
"This is an emergency, please. Has anyone seen the Princess?"

"Oy, I saw 'er!" an old man stood up suddenly. Lucas gestured him over.
"Come with me and tell me where she is!" The man slowly walked out of the bar and continued down the main dirt road, while Lucas followed on foot, pulling his horse along.
"Come along!" he said to Kirsti.
 
Adina walked into the bar(the one Elizabeth is in) She sat down. She looked over at Elizabeth, she stared at her for a minute. Adina smiled, she remebered playing with Elizabeth when they were little.

Elizabeth looked over at the girl who had sat down next to her as the boy behind the counter was pouring more into her cup.
"Adina? Oh my goodness hello!" she exclaimed, and then hugged her. "Its been so long! Well, ever since I snuck out last time, anyways. Father was very upset; haven't stepped out for such a long time. How have you been?" she asked her. And then she realized she was still wearing her dress, and desperatly wanted to change.
 
"Oh sorry..." Kirsti looked down.


Harry nodded at Adina. He was respectful to women no matter how hard his dad tried to tell him they didn't deserve it. "Right. Well...I can't think of any more questions, so this one's on the house." he handed Elizabeth the cup of mead.

"Things are all right, I suppose. Today is my birthday ball. I never thought I'd get the chance to sneak out again, especially today! Father was really upset last time I snuck out. Its not my fault ever one recognized me..." she said looking down at her dress and then turned to the boy behind hte counter.
"You wouldn't have any old clothing here that I could change into?" she asked him with a hopeful look in her eyes.


Lucas looked at Kisti. "I'm sorry, I'm just terribly worried that Elizabeth is getting her self too far in over her head, just like last time. Really, i don't mean to snip at you. Your wonderful." He said holding his hand out as they followed the old man. Then the man came to a stop at a fruit stand.

"I last saw 'er here." he said pointing to the stand, and then walked off.
 
She took his hand and nodded. "Very well."


Harry shrugged. He disappeared for a moment and came back with some old clothing. "What will you do for them?" he grinned.

"I don't know. What do you want? My dress? You can gladly have it!" she told him.

"Well that was a big help." Lucas sighed after the man had left them by the fruit stand.
