As the King and the Duke passed the foyey, he noticed Elizabeth's shoes laying on the floor.

ooc. sure, but I gtg soon. Is it ok if the Duke doesn't really want to marry Elizabeth?

No, thats the whole point, lol... he's old and she doesn't want to marry him, lol.

"I've got it in control. So what else have you been up to?" Lucas asked Deven.

During that time Elizabeth walked to the far end of the ballroom and sat in an arm chair, hoping her father wouldn't notice she was in there.

"Elizabeth! What are you doing with out your shoes? Thats not very lady-like" The king said as he barged in the ballroom with the Duke.

ic. Deven sighed, "nothing much, thrying to find a girl," he said jokingly.

Edward stared at Elizabeth, she is even more beautiful now, he thought. Every one will be jelous of me.

"Don't worry, you'll find one." Lucas said, a bit mre quietly after the King barged in.

"I'm sorry father... I forgot them there." She said as she put them back on after her father dropped them infront of her. Elizabeth felt disgusted at the Duke stared at her like he did.

ic. Deven nodded.

Adina saw what was going on in the ballroom. She went inside and walked into the ballroom.

Deven saw her, he stqared at her in shock.

ic: Kirsti blushed at what Lucas said. She glanced at the Duke and shuddered. She felt bad for Elizabeth.

Harry smiled at Elizabeth, "Would you care to dance?"
 
Elizabeth quickly kicked off her shoes again once her father turned around. "I'd love to." she said smiling at him.

Lucas went over to the butler and had him turn on some music and then he held his out outv for Kirsti. "May I have the pleasure."
 
Fraily, the Duke walked toward the King.

Harry took her hand and twirled her around. "Ever danced before?"



Kirsti smiled and took Lucas' hand. "Of course."
 
The King frowned as he turned to see Elizabeth dancing with some un known boy. "Well, do something!" the King told the Duke.

"A little bit... I'm not very good." Elizabeth said truthfully.
 
The Duke smiled at the order. "My pleasure." he began to walk over to Elizabeth. He tripped Harry.
"HEy!" Harry stumbled losing Elizabeth's grip.


Kirsti glanced over at them. "Oh no..." she muttered. "I feel so bad for her." she said to Lucas.
 
Lucas glanced over at the noise and sighed. "She'll be alright," he said. " I hope..." he added under his breath.

Elizabeth tried to ignore the Duke and helped Harry up. "Are you alright?" she asked him.
 
"Stop it!" Elizabeth yelled as she pushed the Duke away from Harry.

Lucas quickly ran over to defend his sister. "Leave this boy alone!" he said with a harsh tone in his voice, as he pulled Elizabeth behind his so she didn't start attacking him.
 
Harry just kind of lay there. His hand hurt a bit, but he didn't want to move incase Lucas decided to hurt someone.

Kirst watched from afar, she didn't want anything to do with this.


The Duke was angry. "How dare you talk to me like this!" he spoke sternly to Lucas.
 
Lucas shook his head. "Don't act like this to my sister." he said with a bit of anger in his voice.
Elizabeth bend down and pulled Harry up and moved him over to a chair. "Are you alright?" she asked him.
 
Elizabeth wrapped some ice in a clothe and put it in Harry's hand. "I'm fine she said.

"Et tu." Lucas said cockily. Then suddenly Elizabeth came rushing up to the Duke. "You leave Harry alone!" she screamed at him and she hit him.
