Do you collect Narnia Books?

Does anyone have the complete 1st edition of these books? :D They are worth a small fortune. I saw a complete series on sale for £1500 on eBay. It might have been even more, I can't quite remember how much the price was.

Does anyone collect Narnia Books (not necessarily the 1st edition)?

I have a small collection of about 6 different editions of the books. My favourite is the "celebration of the 1st edition" which was released in the last few years.

Another favourite is the hardback editions by collins with the coloured pictures by Pauline Baynes on the front. They were given to me by my girlfriend at the time, so they hold extra value.
 
I don't particulary buy extra copies of the novels themselves, but I do buy special books about the series. I have the Pocket Companion to Narnia, the LWW PC movie companions, I have a Narnia pop-up book, and a few others that I can't remember.
 
I suppose you could say I "collect" Narnia books, given that I have several sets on my shelf. I've never been much of a "collector", so things like first editions hold no allure for me (though I did once find a first edition of Till We Have Faces in a used bookstore - I got it for my daughter.) I do have a very nice set of heavy trade paperbacks of the series, including a 50th anniversary edition of Dawn Treader with all the Baynes illustrations in full color. I found it on a sale table on a sidewalk in Stratford, Ontario for (ready for this?) $2.00.

But the set I most love are the hardbound volumes I grew up with, that I salvaged when my childhood home was broken up and treasure. They're the American version, so they have the "proper" names and details (e.g. Jadis' wolf is Fenris Ulf, the end of the Dark Island chapter in Dawn Treader is as Lewis wanted it, etc.) In my childhood and youth I read and read and read these books until the were nearly loved to death. I rarely read from them because they're so battered, but as it happens I'm working my way through the Chronicles again and decided to pick up the old books once more. It's like walking down memory lane.
 
The only Narnia books I own besides the actual novels are the movie companions. I don't see the point in buying multiple versions of one series.
 
I have The Magician's Nephew in the original Hebrew and the rest of the books in the original Greek. Along with various translations that dispense with the thee's, thy's and thou's. :D
 
There's a certain edition I'm trying to get a set of, though I'm not going out of my way to do so. I think I have five of them so far.
 
I've the LWW movie edition box set, as well as the Heavy paperback copy of LWW that belongs in POTW's set. I have a few of the movie story books as well for the lovely illustrations. I'm much worse with my Oz and Hardy Boy books, I have at least 5 different editions of 'Secret of the Old Mill' ^.^ I'm off topic again...
 
I have 2 sets of the most "modern" editions of the Chronicles. One set is the one with the full color illustrations.
