Amy Grant was listed? Well, I guess a little thing like dumping her husband in order to marry a man who was dumping his wife around the same time didn't hurt her career any.

Amy Grant left her husband Gary Chapman (also a singer), without (as far as I know) even claiming that he was unfaithful or abusive to her. Meanwhile, country singer Vince Gill, who had worked musically with Amy, left HIS spouse (whose name I don't know). Then Amy and Vince married each other.

If only one of these two had been getting divorced just before the new marriage was joined, I could have given benefit of the doubt, like: "Maybe Gary Chapman WAS abusive to Amy and she didn't reveal it in order to spare their children's feelings." But it strains mathematical probability to believe that BOTH Vince and Amy nearly simultaneously went through divorces in which they were EACH the innocent, injured party, with the other spouse in each case being clearly to blame, and only then, with NO prior sexual attraction between them despite their working together in studio, they suddenly got the brand-new idea of marrying each other.

My mom already told me.

Wow  I didn't know that! But I was never really a fan and now I never will be. And the fact that she's a Christian singer, she is supposed to be a role model for people . . . it's pathetic :(

I was so dissapointed Leeland didn't win anything. But Casting Crowns is REALLY good, so that was okay that they beat them... loved the fact of Disciple winning! Although Toby getting music video? Now that's whack...
