Yes, I've mostly enjoyed this season so far. I feel the writing is better than last season.

But....Spoilers ahead* The storyline with the Bates/death of Mr green, I wish would just go away...far away...never to return and haunt us again.*

We'll just have to wait for the finale of this season to find out.
 
Ditto. Me too. I knew about the arrest of a certain servant, but I had no idea it'd be so emotionally wrecking to watch. I cried my eyes out. Like you, I'm tired of that couple not having any rest from trouble, or as Mrs. Hughes put it, "shadows". Why can't they just be happy????
 
I am a couple of weeks behind ... I have it on DVR.

Don't tell me Anna is going to be arrested?!

I will try to catch up soon. I have been enjoying this season, but I must say I have not been impressed with Edith's choices. She is thinking of herself rather than the child, and I find that very immature and selfish. That little girl was too old to be wrenched away from the family that loved her. It was an impossible situation, of course, but Edith should have put the good of the child ahead of her own desires, even though she was heartbroken.

But her problems sound like small potatoes based on what everyone is saying here! I will let you know what I think when I catch up.
 
Yes out of the shadows...enough is enough. I know that no one is allowed to remain so but they've been put through more than their fair share.
