Drakan: Forces of the Mother Dragon

Ruben looked around at all the lifeless body as a look of pure horor and devistation was spread acrossed his whole face. he did not know how to respond to it all. silent tears maid thier way down his cheeks as he took another look around at the shattered and lifeless village.
 
hours of silence past. Then Rynn finally arose to her feet slowly. She took in a deep breath and angery overtook her face. She looked to the sky and closed her eyes. What are we going to do Rynn?Ajah asked There is only one thing we can do. We will travel to Surdana and join the forces of Queen Mychala. We are the last of our village and we will represtent it in battle. Rynn spoke slowly, quietly but angrily. At that moment she ran toward what used to be her home, inside a wooden chest that hadent burned all the way she grabbed a map, a sword and more arrows for her bow. She then grabbed a chain from her mother's old necklace and strung the amulet she found onto it and kissed and put it around her neck She walked out of the house and fire overtook it. Take whatever supplies you need. Then we will go.

Ruben did as Rynn had told them and emmiditly started gathering any supplies he found that were in good shape and needed for the trip and loaded them onto a bag that was connected to the sattle of his horse.
 
The rain began to pour and the horse shook thier heads uncomfortly as the rain tricked down into thier ears and nosed. The map was drentched with water as Rynn tried to read it. Rynn you have never been to Surdana and the map is practiculy ruined! How do you know where you are going?Ajah questioned. Rynn did not respond. Hours passed and fog began to cloud thier path I thin we are going the right way Rynn finally said

"how far is it from here?" asked Ruben looking at ren and the drenched map.

Surdana is far from our village, I am following the path the wartocks went. Thier city is not far from Surdana. Im not sure, maybe we should stop and make camp Rynn said angrily and threw the ruined map on te ground

"sounds good to me..." said Ruben watching Rynn throw the ruined map angerly on the ground. he then started preparing camp.

"I can't believe it either..." said Ruben sadly walking over to rynn and pulling her into a hug hoping that would somehow bring her some comfort as he himself felt tore up inside from what all the Wartocks had done to there beloved village.
 
They mourned for the ones that passed, but grunts and roars ehoed in the distance. They were headed toward them. Oh no, wartocks. We better hide in those rocks, if they spot us there are two many for the three of us to fight. Rynn said as she gatherd all her stuff and loaded it upon her horse. She then helped her brother.

Ruden then began to load up all his stuff onto his horse as well. once he was finished he walked tp Rynn and her brother and helped them load up Rynns brothers horse.
 
We aannot continue on our path, we need to hide, over there behind those cliffs will be good.
Rynn said as they raced off towards the cliffs

Ruben and the others finally arrived at the cliffs and Ruben quickly took Rynns and and hid with her and her brother behind the cliffs. "I sure hope this works..." said Ruben in a somehwta worried tone.
 
As the night passed on the sound of thier enemies faded, but the smell of blood polluted the air. As the sun chased away the darkness Rynn was the first to awake, She looked at the others and they were still asleep. She smiled at them and looked at her surroundings. She couldnt believe how deep they travled into the mountians. She then noticed a lcave with a lightning shaped entrance. Curiously she got up and walked toward it without waking the others. She peered in and something sparkled in the distance. She took anouther look at her brother and Ruben to make sure they were still sleeping. Then took one step into the cave. She slowly wlked to the back and saw a dragon statue with its hands streached out, in its hands was a long sword. Rynn reached for the sword and ran her fingers along the sword's edge. It was sharp and looked as if it were never used before. As she picked it up and clutched it into her hands the ground began to shake. And the dragon statue began to crack. As the layers of stone fell off, skin was uncovered from the dragon stature.

Ruben heard the commotion coming from the cave Rynn was in and quickly woke Rynns brother saying, "hurry wake up Rynn might be in trouble!" he then took of running in the direction he heard the commotion coming from and soon found the cave Rynn was in and ran inside but the sight he saw was amazing and he had never exspected to see such a sight he walked still awe-struck to Rynn and asked in an awed tone of voice, "what happend?"
 
Rynn looked back at the two with a look of shock in her eyes, then a burst of wind shoved Ruben and Ajah out of the cave. Inside the cave the dragon's eyes lit up and the rest of the stone fell off of it. Then multiple shocks of lightning pierced both Rynn and the dragon brutally. Bothe cried in pain. All Ruben and ajah saw from outside was flashes of light escapinf into the morning sky. Then the cave cracked and collapsed reavelaing the dragon holding an uncauntiouse Rynn in his arms.

Rubens eyes widened as he seen the dragon come out of the cave holding Rynn in his arms. "w-what have you done to her!?" he cried in anger and in grief.
 
Put my sister down! Ajah yelled as he ran toward the dragon. The dragon out spread his wings and gave a loud roar. Do not come any closer, for if you hurt me it will hurt your sister as well. The dragon growled . He was a red coloe with a tail as long as a seqoua tree. At the end was three pointed horns and it swerved infront of him to keep Ajah a good distance away from him.

Rynn is going to be okay. The dragon spoke
How do you know her name!?Ajah asked as he stared at the horns on the dragon
I know everything about her, after she claimed the sword from my hands out souls became one. Rynn and I have what is called the "bond" she is know a knight of the order; a dragon rider.

Ruben stared at the dragon in amazment "you've got to be joking!?" he exclaimed, "and what is this "Bond" you speak of?"
