Arcturus stood next to Destiny for support. Destiny needed to know that Arcturus will always be there for anything. Besides it was the only thing he could do for Leila also.

A single tear slid down the Daughter of Fire's cheek. "Alida....is Leila's daughter." Her lips quivered uncontrolably.

"Daughter?..." Aasen sat by Leila and touched her arm.

Leila flinched and pulled her arm away from him. It was ok that she could touch another girl...men were a differnt story.

"How did she...have a daughter?"

Aasen's jaw slowly dropped. When he was king of theives things liked that happened often, and he had hated it. Now anger and hatred filled him. He got up, knowing his presence disturbed her. "Oh Ellonai," he said aloud as he bowed his head, "forgive me when I condmen that..." he cringed, "wicked man to a thousand deaths." Then he looked up at everyone, then at Leila, "I'm sorry."

(ooc *cries* :()

Thorn nuzzled Leila.

And suddenly she sat up and covered herself in the blankets. She stared at everyone for a long moment. "I'm sorry," she said, "I didn't meant to frighten everyone..." she saw the tea next to her and gulped it down.

Destiny looked at Leila. Though she had not lost a child she had lost someone close to her......her twin sister. Another tear slid down the Princesses face as she thought of Pyralis [:(] she had died only 2 years ago.

Leila met Destiny's gaze and gave a fake quick smile to try to reassure her and everyone else she was ok. But she knew she was as transparent as glass at this point. Something she had never really felt. "You saw her didn't you?"

Destiny nodded."Yea."She managed to say through her tightened throat. "I'm sorry,Leila." She turned and hurried out of the room as the flow of tears finaly came through.

Leila sighed as Destiny left the room. She wiped away a few tears and leaned back into the bed and stared up at the ceiling.

"Leila?"

"Alida was my daughter. The only thing I placed my hope in...Aasen, when she died so did my hope. That's why the old Leila, the one who once had joy, is never coming back."

There was nothing he could say to that. Right then he knew that Leila's ability to feel joy was in Ellonai's hands.
