Sienna walked around the ship, realizing her birthday was arriving soon. She looked off to the horizion, the wind hitting her cheek. She said a silent prayer for the health and saftey of her family, a wave of homesickness hit her. She hadn't seen them since her wedding, and she always loved her birthday with her family.

'You have a new family now Sienna. Rigel and all your friends are with you. Mother and Father will send their love...' She told herself. She smiled inwardly and made up her mind that she would write to them soon.

After Alzira shot a few more arrows into the target, she went out onto the deck again to look out at the water. She found that the sun had gone down while she was practicing her archery but didn't mind. The moon looked really pretty reflected on the water.

Rigel saw Sienna getting all excited for her Birthday. He had been having everyone secretly getting ready for a surprise party. He made sure the cook was baking the cake.

"Hannah, how is it coming along."

The cook smiled. "It should be done soon, but don't you dare even try to taste any of it. Ever since you were three you've always been digging into my sweets before they were done."

"I won't." Rigel said with a smile.

Up on Deck, he saw the Admiral looking rather grim.

"Whats wrong?"

Klorin sighed. "Your majesty, I have terrible news. All of the weapons are missing on our ship. There gone. And some of the supplies have been sabataged. I think there is a traitor on this ship."

"Who? Aside from us and the elementals there are only a few servants that have been loyal to Mizar for a long time."

Admiral Klorin gave a rather serious look. "Do you think its possible that one of the Elementals could be working for the Enemy?"

"No...they wouldnt."

After Alzira looked out at the water some more, she thought to herself, It's getting really late and I need to go to bed. She left the railing, went to her room, put her pajamas on, tucked herself underneath the covers, turned off the light, and went straight to sleep.

Cinthia heard that it was almost Siennas birthday and wanted to make a presant for Sienna but didnt know what she would like. She decided to make her a dress if her and Rigel would ever go on a date. She took somes blue cloth and took a needle and some thread and started to sow. when she was done she made sure it was nice. Then she took some sparkly cloth and sowed it around the waste of the dress. When she was done she rapped it in a box she found next to her bed. She hid it under her bed and coverd it with a blanket.

Alzira awoke the next morning feeling rejuvenated. She got up, dressed in something for the day, and made her way to the messhall for breakfast. Yet again, she sat by herself at an empty table and hoped that no one would sit beside her and start asking questions she didn't know the answers to. After she was done eating, she put her plate on the food counter and made her way up to the deck to look out at the water. That was one of her favorite pastimes while on a boat or anywhere.

As Alzira looked out upon the water, she saw that the sun was going down and was getting late but not too late to have to go to bed. She left the railing to go to her room to get her quiver full of arrows and bow so she could practice more on the target. She retrieved her quiver and bow and headed towards the staircase that led to the target. When she got to the target, she shot ten arrows into it. Only five of them hit around or in the bullseye. She took out the arrows and shot them again.

After Alzira shot her arrows into the target a couple more times, she decided that, that was enough for the day. She left the target room, went up the stairs, across the deck, and headed to where her room was. Once she was there, she put her bow and quiver away, put on her pajamas, tucked herself underneath the covers, turned off the light, and went to sleep.

Arcturus found out that the first mate in the flagship, Mr. Hackett was not only a good swordsman but a great teacher. He also had extensive knowledge in various weapons use in close quarter combat. In addition to that, Mr. Hackett was a master archer. Arcuturs made sure to pay close attention to Mr. Hacket's lessons, especially since as First Mate, Mr. Hacket had many other responsibilities on the ship and the entire fleet for that matter. Time for combat and archery lessons was very precious.

Alzira woke still a bit sleepy but ready for the day. She got dressed and headed to the messhall for breakfast. She ate what she was served, brought her plate to the counter, and headed up to the deck to walk around and then later, look out at the water.

Cinthia was a little bit hungry. She decided to go eat at the mess hall. When she got there she saw Austin leaving the area with a fishing pole. She decided to follow him, but tried to keep enough distance so that it wouldnt look like they were hanging out together. "I don't want him to get in trouble with his father."
She had to quickly hide whenever Austin would look back. After awhile, Austin stopped by the deck and flung the string attatched to the rod into the water. Suddenly Austin turned around and saw Cinthia.

"What are you doing here?" Austin asked.

"I'm sorry, but I wanted to see you. Your the only one around my age here."

"How old are you anyway?" Austin asked, looking into the water in hopes of catching a bite.

"Thirteen."

"I'm fourteen, but I'll turn fifteen in about four months. You know if my father saw us together..."

Cinthia looked down. "Yes, I know....should I leave."

A smirk came across Austin's face. "No. My father, while a good man, is making a mistake in trying to keep us apart. We can still see each other, but just in secret."

Cinthia smiled and walked up next to Austin as he was reeling in the hook.

"Drat." he muttered. "The fish took the bait."

Cinthia touched the rod. "May I?"

"Uh, sure." Austin said nervously, putting a worm onto the hook.

Cinthia cast the line into the water. Austin smiled. "Of course, if I cant catch anything you probably can't either."

"Oh, I wouldnt be too sure." Cinthia said. Suddenly she felt a tug on the line. "I GOT ONE!" she said with delight and surprise.

"Quick reel it in!" Austin yelled. Cinthia quickly reeled the fish in. It had shiny purple scales. Cinthia got the fish off the hook and held it as it squirmed. "What do I do with it?"

"We kill it. Its going to be for food."

"Um, you can kill it." Cinthia said a little grossed out.

"You know, your actually not to bad at this fishing thing." Austin said.

"Well I-" Cinthia stopped as she heard footsteps quickly coming toward them.

"Hide behind the barrel!" Austin screamed. Cinthia ran behind the barrel and hid. "If this is Austin's father, were going to get it!" she thought as the footsteps came closer.

Austin looked at the person coming. It was Sienna. "Good day your majesty." he said as she walked by. Once she was out of sight Austin gave a sigh of relief.

Alzira woke, got ready for the day, and headed for the messhall for breakfast. After she was done eating, she went up on deck to feel the nice ocean air and to look out at the water.

Destiny watched Arcturus shoot a bow and arrow, still pertched on the rail. She alighted lightly and walked over to him. "You are getting good." She smiled at him. "I love archery."

She heald out her palm and created a bow of fire in the other she heald a flaming arrow. Knocking the arrow she aimed at the target and let it fly, with a thunk the arrow hit the bullseye.

Arcturus tossed water on the arrow.

Destiny smiled up at him. "I was taught to shoot before I could walk." She told him. " I prefer a real one than fire but in battle I'll need it." Her dark brown eyes burned.

Cinthia smiled. "Im going to talk with your father. Im sick of being secret all the time. Im sure if I talk to your father I can change his mind about us and let us be together.... well at least in public. And we dont always have to hide when we hear someones foot steps."

"I dont want you to talk to my dad. It will just make things worse."

"Im going to talk with him no matter what. Im going to miss you when the war is over. Im going to spend the last moments with you and I dont care what your father says. Im going to talk to him!" Cinthia started to cry. " Ill miss you Austin ill miss you."

"Then go and talk to my father if I mean that much to you."

Cinthia ran up to Austin and hugged him. "Thank you." Cinthia left the deck. She saw the captin talking to one of his men. "Sir I dont mean to intrude it just im here to talk about Austin and me. Im Cinthia."

"So your the little girl who keeps getting my son into trouble. He may not have informed you about this, but I told him he's not allowed to see you.
