Yes, I love the 50's and early 60's. :D It's not that I dislike his music in the 70's (even though it's still not my favorite), but I guess it just makes me sad because that's kind of when he started going downhill and everything. :o Plus, I've never been into his whole "Las Vegas/white jumpsuit" era. :p

LOL..and the hair was a bit too much in that era too....;)

Have you heard any of his Gospel music?my favorite is "Crying In the Chapel".I'd heard it by someone else first,but Elvis did a beautiful job on it.
 
Yeah, I have 2 or 3 of his gospel records that I got from my grandma. I like "His Hand In Mine," "In the Garden," and a few more that I can't remember the names of...I just glanced on the records and I think "I, John" and "A Thing Called Love" are the two I really like, but I'm not sure. It's been so long since I've listened to them. :p
