If only skandar had a little bro, ya know??

I was thinking of someone like that. Edmund and Eustace have common ground (although Eustace is initially insufferable, not really as bad as Edmund).

It really depends on what Lucy looks like when that film is being made. The book says he's weak in comparision to Lucy.

But then he's stronger in the next two books. So, he'd have to be puny in his first appearance, but more built up in in his last two appearances.

I am eager to see who they chose. Eustace is my second favorite character, and if the actor can not portray him well, I will be very disappointed. I hope we all find out soon.

Edmund is my favorite as well. I just got done reading Voyage of the Dawn Treader. And I still love the little chat Edmund had with Eustace after Aslan freed Eustace from being a Dragon.

Perhaps Edmund saw a little of himself in Eustace at the moment?

'That's all right,' said Edmund. 'Between ourselves, you haven't been as bad as I was on my first trip to Narnia. You were only an ass, but I was a traitor.'

I LOVE that line. It was so wonderful that Edmund could use his horrid behavior for something good in a away. ok so here is a pick of the boy I thought might be good for Eustace

Wow, he seems right for the part. He does look like he'd be smaller then Lucy...and wouldn't stand a chance against Edmund. :D

I tried to splice the two pics as well as I could and I know its really pixaly but you can see that they even look like they could be related

OMG I LOVE THOMAS SANGSTER!!! And he does look related, LOL :D But he's actually 18, would you believe it, and therefore way too old to play Eustace
:( But he is cute! Maybe by the time they get to LB, he'll look old enough to play Tirian :D He'll be 20-something by that time!

But I agree w/ Grateful Surrender, they need to cast someone around Georgie's age. From what I last read a few months ago on NarniaWeb, they were down to 12 boys, and I think they were all around her age. I just hope whoever it is is going to be extremely obnoxious and hilarious as Eustace.

In the book, they mention that Eustace and Jill are the youngest of the Narnian friends, so whoever they cast for these roles would have be younger then Lucy at time of production.

I wonder if, even though Jill won't make an appearance until Silver Chair, will they cast her now, just to find someone who has good chemistry with whoever plays Eustace?

Or will they do that later, when Silver Chair's turn rolls around?

I was thinking about this and wondering who could do Eustace justice? I know that they are going to film the VODT right along with PC so Eustace is going to be cast soon. who should he be?

Charlie Rowe(The Boy Who Played Billy Costa in The Golden Compass) would be a good choice for the role of eustace, because he did a good job in the golden compass.......:)

Does anyone officially know when they will release who's playing who? We might just have to keep guessing for awhile! The actor they choose will be about 13 or 14 right? I think that age is appropriate for filming. Does anyone know?
