Favorite LotR Character?

Which, of these, is your favorite?

It is silly to write three out of the four hobbits on this list :eek: How can someone forget PIPPIN????????
I don't have anything against Arwen but I think they have made her so weak in the movies. She was so much more stronger in the books.
My fav character list would be:
1. Gil-Galad/ Samwise
2. The other three hobbits
3. Witch-King
4. Galadriel
5. Gandalf
6. Aragorn
7. Eomer
8. Eowyn
9. Faramir
10. Theoden
 
Aragorn. Both when it comes to the movies and the books. Other characters I enjoy are Arwen, Galadriel, Éomer, Gandalf, Théoden, Witch-King and Gimli.

In the movie I prefer Aragorn as the more wild and mysterious Strider rather than the cleaned-up Elessar. I love a man who looks like he's spent the past 10 years in the wilderness. All rough and scruffy looking :p
 
Yep! He looks far more cooler as Strider :D You can see the mission in his eyes and in the end the mission was over. The ring was destroyed and now Gondor had a king again. The one I enjoyed the most is Pippin :D
 
Talk about a thread that'll cause my brain to possibly explode.
I don't think I can choose, it's so difficult. I'll pick one character and then think about another and get confused.

There should have been an 'All of the Above' option :p

Eowyn is my favorite human...
Arwen my favorite elf..(She and Haldir are the only elves that didn't bother me.:rolleyes:)
My VERY favorite character is still Sam,then Pippin and Merry tied for second.Elanor and Rosie were so cute,too.:D
 
My fav human is either Aragorn or Eomer
Fav elf is Gil-Galad
Fav hobbit is Pippin
Fav villain is Witch-King
Fav orc is Orc Lieutenant (with skull on his head)
Fav female either Rosie or Galadriel
My overall fav is number three on this list :D
 
I voted for Gandalf, but then I have always been partial to wizards and the like. After Gandalf it would be Sam, Gil-Galad, Galadriel. and Elrond. I also have an affinity for the Elves.

Mizz Fregglezzz.....there is no hope for those who are infected. Only a fool's hope. I am infected with the LOTR disease (category hobbit) for years now and I can assure you, I'm a nutcase. Nothing will help me anymore :p
