Tirian may be better looking *winks* but Peter would never be so foolish as to rush off in anger to attack someone without putting together a plan.
 
Please remind me of Tirian doing that?I cannot recall that. In the movie Peter did the exact foolish thing running with anger after the WW, once she stabbed edmund. no wonder he sucked so bad she wooped his tush in that sword fight, and we all know anger never proves anything in a fight and we all know that you never win a swordfight if your fighting in anger :cool:

well, I know Peter was rash in the battle in the movie but the book doesn't tell us if he was rash or not. Even so, he was already in the middle of a battle and he would have had to fight the witch at some point. He was just rushing it a bit. With Tirian its at the beginning of the book when the dryad comes and tells him the trees are being cut down. And instead of going back to the castle like he should have and made a plan, Tirian just took off with Jewel to fight the Calormenes. Very stupid decision on the part of a king. No matter what, you have to consider the well being of the entire country. I"ll try to find the passage for you.

Thats why he sent the centaur to go get help and the army and what not, i forget the name of the centaur but i think he'd be faster than Tirian:p to get help so Tirian and Jewel went right away, Tirian didnt want to see his country and people suffer any longer. He didnt know exaclty what he'd find there, so he went to see who was causing trouble to his people and country he took a risk of not knowing how bad it was where they were felling trees, he didnt know how many Calomenes would be there, but he took the chance and the risk.Which turned him into being tied into a tree.

true, it just always seemed like a dumb move for a king to make to me. i still like him 3rd best though.
 
Yeah, see i didnt find it much of a dumb move for him to make as much as you do.
I look at it this way he didnt want his country to suffer and longer so he went to see what the problem was as i said not knowing what he'd find and not knowing the outcome. He might have watsed more time going back to the castle with Jewel, and the centaur(grr i wish i remember his name)he might have thought he'd save time and quench his curiosity of who the fool was in leading the Cal's into felling the trees.
 
i suppose I can also blame it on the fact that Tirian is young and hasn't had any real problems in narnia for 2 hundred years. He probably wouldn't be thinking that this was a big deal. Other than that little flaw though i always thought Tirian was one of the best characters in the books.
 
Of course Peter is going to win. But I voted for Tirian becouse I`m like the biggest Tirian fan ever!(Oh and the centaur`s name in the last battle is Roonwit)
