Favorite Part of the Trailer

Speaking about Reepicheep, he sounded almost the same from PC. I wonder if they dubbed his voice from PC because in PC he said a line almost identical to, "Your majesties". I expected him to sound totally different in the trailer but he didn't. Any thoughts on that?

I like the bow and arrows that Lucy was shooting and i also like when she is in the magiciens house and snow is falling around her it looks so magcial and peaceful almost like when she first makes it into narnia in lww

I would say your conclusion is sound Aravis, they probably recycled the same audio bite and reused it for the trailer. I hope that the new voice actor can mimic the tone of Eddie Izzard. That way it will be cohesive and we won't have to adjust to radically different voice. :)

I just hope that when I see the movie, I'm not thinking,"Davy Jones!" every time Reep is onscreen. I do NOT like the Pirates sequels and I wasn't happy that they were casting Bill Nighy (Davy JOnes) as Reep.

Perpare for my strong words, I find the Pirates sequels abhorrible! They are in my humble opinion the worst sequels ever concieved. What makes it even more unbearable is that Disney is maknig a fourth installment! But as for Davy Jones playing Reep, this is just not agreeable, did they really have to add a voice actor from POTC to this film?

Disney is making a fourth pirate movie? I thought that was all done with the bad Davy Jones ending...?? Not to mention the journey to the end of the world, sounded far too much like Dawn Treader for my liking at the time...but I digress, as any narnian knows, it is nothing like the other.

Well, at least you won't actually see Davy Jones onscreen....Reep is PURE CGI!

Yes Disney has decided to milk the Pirate genre some more. THey are currently working on a fourth installment and I surmize it shall have to do with Jack Sparrow's search for the fountain of youth.

True, but if his voice is too much like pitch of Davy Jones I'll have hard time admiring Reepicheep, which will be travesty. Because Reep is one of my favorite characters in VODT. :)

The scene where the painting comes to life... it also made me the saddest. That was the part of the movie I really wanted to see in the movie theater. :(

One of my favorite parts was Eustace watching Duffers jump about and his line 'This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder." XD

Yes, and Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom won't be in the 4th Pirates film.

Lady Chloe, why are you sad about that part? Were you wanting to see that part in the theater?

Well that part in book is quite different, Lucy, Ed, and Eustace shrink and find themselves on frame of the picture and then a wave sweeps up and draws them into the painting or rather into Narnia. :)

Reep is one of my favourites too. Hopefully he will have a tone of voice then that is purely for Reepicheep.

However, we are quite lucky to have our CGI Reepicheep, as funny as Warwick Davies did it back in the BBC day.
This is a behind the scenes clip of him prancing about in his Reepicheep costume and making the kids laugh:

I hope Davy Jones is in a windowless room listening to Eddie Izzard's voice over tapes. :D XD

Really, I loved ALL of the trailer - it was beautiful. But I guess I liked the way Reepicheep and Aslan looked the best. Reepicheep seemed truly himself in that trailer, unlike the way he was in Prince Caspian. And Aslan also looked better than he did in the previous films. More convincing as a lion, somehow, and less like a CGI creation.

You know, I had fully expected to be disappointed by 20th Century Fox's version of Narnia - I'd heard the budget was lower than the Disney-derived films...but MAN, that trailer was magical!!! It gave me chills. It was way more awesome than the Harry Potter trailers I've been seeing (which look lame - Ron and Harry fight, teen luv, big deal). When it started snowing in the wizard's study, and when the Witch approached Edmund, and when Reepicheep bowed and said "Your majesties!" in such a gallant, cheerful voice...wow! It was all amazing. And on a lower budget! Maybe Fox is just spending its budget more wisely than did Disney (who, I'm sorry to say, seemed less-than-fully-committed to Narnia from the very beginning. It didn't even give the green light to the first film until it saw how well Passion of the Christ did...pretty crappy reason if you ask me. A good story should be recognized as such without focus groups or the box office take of what is thought to be a similar film. Feh on Disney! It's being run by bean-counters and deviants now. Poor Walt would have a fit!)

Anyway, I just loved that trailer. I am completely excited for a film that previously I had pretty much written off.

the tralier was amazing. I showed it to my sister and she said it was going to be a really good movie. I hope she is right.:)
