Favorite Scene From The Lotr Movies

My favorite scene would be the battle scene in the third movie,in front the gates of Minas Tirith.
Especially the part when Rohan comes, the music is great in that part, and i also love Theoden's speech there,'Death!':),just great

The Battle of Pelennor fields you mean? I used to LOVE that part mainly because of the horns blowing and the whole group together screaming DEATH! It gives me goosebumps everytime. Another scene I love but it's kinda sad is when Eomer finds his sister among the death and wounded and he screams very loud NO! And then the cry a while after because at first he thinks she is dead.

I hate every scene after the one where Sam carries Frodo. Simply because they are much, much too sad. I sob so hard during the coronation at Minas Tirith, and then the quadrillion epilogues including Frodo leaving ... I hate hate hate them they are so sad! Haha.

I'm the same way. The end makes me cry so much, and I've seen it fifty bazillion times.

It's so sad, but I love it.

My other favorite scene is during the battle at Minus Tirth, where they are catapulting bits of the city walls back at the orcs.

I also like when the first Black Rider shows up in Fellowship of the Ring, and the Hobbits are hiding from it. It's creepy. For some reason the Nazgul seem scarier when they're on horseback than on the "fell beasts".

Umm...i love all three movies, but i guess some of my favorites are:
FOTR:Council of Elrond
Elrond:You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring.
Pippin:Great!Where are we going? BEST LINES IN LOTR :D The scene where Arwen's water horses temporarily disable the Nazgul.Other than that...the scenes in the Mines of Moria are really cool.
In the whole triology of LOTR,i like almost all the scenes, except the one where Saruman cuts down Ents(do Ents have dryads?) and Shelob's lair. That one is scary!!!!

FOTR: The Shire intro scene in the Extended edition, and the battle in Balin's tomb.
TTT: The battle of Helm's Deep (AKA the Hornburg) I also like the part where Treebeard says, "Now, don't be hasty, master Merry." I also like the Smeagol/Gollum conversation.
ROTK: For those of you who've seen the EE's, I like the part where Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas attack the Black Ships with the army of the dead, specifically the lines, "Boarded? By you and whose army?" "This army."
But ultimately, out of all the movies, no scene is more powerful than the ride of the Rohirrim on Pelennor Fields. I get chills down my spine and goosebumps every time I watch the charge.

Amid the actions of the Rohirrim, I loved Eomer's throwing a spear to kill an Oliphaunt driver, causing a collision of TWO of the mastodons. Eomer's role in the movies overall was cut down at least as badly as Faramir's, so it was some consolation for them to let Eomer bring down TWO mastodons to Eowyn's one.

The scene where Arwen's water horses temporarily disable the Nazgul.

If you're refering to the scene at the river (known as "Flight to the Ford" in the book) in the book it states that the horse-forms in the water were by Gandalf. Ok but that scene rocks anyway!

Ents and Dyads are two completely different things.

And when I watched the parts in Shelob's lair with my friend we were both yelling "LOOK BEHIND YOU!!!" :p

Oh geez, I think TDL is famous for asking impossible questions....

Umm... IDK for me the scene with Gandalf and the Balrog was a major let down. Before my sis and I had seen the movie my dad had acted out that scene for us and I have to say, my dad did a way better job at it. So I was kinda disappointed at it in the movie.

I like all funny scenes like scenes with Merry and Pippin and scenes with Legolas and Gimli.

And i also like some of the sad and touching scenes.

Like I said, an impossible question.

You're right, they cut his stuff down, even in the extended editions. He was still cool though. I loved the Oliphaunt driver's face when Éomer stopped riding and prepared to throw his spear. "Ho-ho!"

I forgot to mention that I loved Boromir's line: "*sigh* they have a cave troll.", and Gandalf's face when Pippin explains that they need "people of intelligence on this--mission. Quest. Thing."

And start hitting him with a broomstick!

And this may be used: Blue Light is True light... its not from LOTR but its cool.
Or you could say, "You have chosen the way of pain"

LOL thanks for the info.I was just kidding about the Dryads in the Ents.About the scene "Flight to the Ford" i didn't know they were Gandalf's(in the movie it seemed like Arwen was doing it, but oh well). When me and my siblings were watching the scene in Shelob's lair we were also yelling :p

Yeah no kidding.I get goosebumps whenever i think of the Nazgul.I also laugh when Gandalf hits Denethor.:)
Although i don't like Denethor....

If you DID like Denethor, you wouldn't be pleased to see him being struck. As for Arwen, although I was happy that she was allowed to be in the action, it bugged me that the first TV trailers for the first movie made it look as if Arwen were THE star of the whole story. The usual American pandering to girl-power fanatics.
