First Look at Reepicheep!

It's possible that they saw what we wrote. Otherwise they just showed us a pic of Peepiceek or something. The color of a CG character is under their control and can be changed. If they read the fan threads on this board, NarniaWeb, TheLionsCall, or anywhere else, they'd have seen people upset about Reep being white. I think glumPuddle went as far as to start a petition for them to change it. So, we'll see how it comes out when the film is released. The franchise knows that they have a certain amount of proverbial change with the fans and that they have to spend it wisely. If they can avoid spening unnecessary change by changing the color of a CG character they're wise to do so.

He looks wonderful in the poster. His dashing feather. He looks spectacular. I just wish he were in the trailer.

(good idea NP, he wouldn't want to hear that ;) )

He's not supposed to be white. He's all black. Read the description of him when he first appears in Dawn Treader.

LOL I know that! Like the others said there were initial reports/rumors etc that said he'd be white and I was expressing my delight that he's not! I agree with everyone that he looks great so far.

He is really cute! (Although I would never say so in his hearing!) And "as valiant... as a mouse!" :D
And you better not say it in my hearing either. :D Reep's character is something that, although he comes across as humorous at times, should not be made a joke of. That's what I'm concerned about even more than his color. However, I must say the new images do look promising. :)

Reepicheep will provide some of the comic relief as the beavers did in LWW, but I think they'll go about it in a good way. They're making him quite fierce I think. He's a mouse people won't want to take on for sure.

Cool, cuz I was a little worried about that, too. He's not be buffoonish or clownish in any way ... He looks good though in the poster, he looks like a serious, dashing mouse.
:)

In the pre-viz footage he was funny in a good way. When getting into the castle for the night raid the first thing they (Reepicheep, Peepiceek, and another) had to do was tie up the cat. Then they started kicking tail....hmmm, interesting choice of words but I'll run with it.

LOL! Sounds OK. I am still unsure about the way they have rearranged the story, but I am anxious to see it and decide for myself ... Any road, Reep looks like he is going to be a good, strong character and not a clown.

Nope, I suppose not! ;)

Oops, didn't see you standing there! :p

I like it.
 Where did you see the pre-viz footage and what else can you tell us about it?! :D
I think that he will be funny, but not clownish. A very good warrior, but also comic relief (to us) from all the intensity of fighting... does that make sense?

The new poster makes him look really good (in my opinion). Even though I think his tail is a little too short, as is his rapier, but then again, its just one picture. :D

Mmm... well... I was never a big fan of Reep. IDK why... because everyone else loves him =p But he looks really cute on teh poster.

Yes, I know that, but when Reep smiles in that trailer it reminds me of Templeton in the new Charlotte's Web.
