Edyth turned back to the door and walked in...snapping it close...."Ryan will kill me if she leaves..but it will be worst if she really finds out whats going.." She mumbled under her breath.


"He is inside.." Ryan spoke...
The tall man on the tuxedo sent a few of his men to open the door and get him out.
"Hah...I see.." The man coughed...."Whatever...put him inside..."
Ed struggled as he could, kicking one of the guys and falling in the ground, being all tied up.
The man walked up to him..."What do you think you're doing?..." He slapped him as the men pulled him.
"Quiet, and you'll be...fine..." Ed clenched his eyes...what was really going on....
"Here..." The man turned and gave Ryan his payment...the other two, got Edward inside a huge, dark place.
Ryan smiled..."Everything else...its on progress..."

"It better be.."
 
Gabbi glared at Edyth's retreating back and decided what she had to do.

Ten minutes later, she arrived at the Foster Offices.

"Melissa! I need to talk to you!" she said to the woman at the desk.

"Again Gabbi? You've been gone less than a week. Really, must you be so difficult?"

"No, it's not that! Edward, the boy that was placed with me-"

"Also a troublemaker."

"He's gone! He disappeared."

"He probably ran away. Dear, he's quite famous for it."

"But.. Edyth and Ryan-"

"Are great people for taking five of you in at one time."

"No, they took him somewhere. Really! Melissa, I know there's something weird going on!"

"Gabbi, I know that it's hard, moving from family to family all the time. But really, you are so close to being 18, can;t you just relax?"

"You're not listening to me!"

"I'm going to call Edyth, she's probably worried sick about you." And, the woman picked up the phone and called Edyth, telling her everything Gabbi had said.
 
"Sure. Thanks a lot Mellisa. Oh no, such nonsense-Of course-Yes- I'll go to pick her up right now.."
And with that she left to the Foster offices...

"Gabbi..." Edyth entered the room..."Dont worry...Ed'll be back by himself.." She looked at Gabbi severaly.
"thanks a lot Mellisa, again..." Edyth smiled fakely.

ic: Gabbi glared at her. "I know he didn't run away. And I know he wasn't sent to another family." As they walked to the car, Gabbi stopped. "You may as well tell me when I'm leaving 'to go to a new family'. Because I know you're completely fake. And I know that Ryan tells you everything."

Not giving any reply. She turned the engine on....heading back.

Ed was freezing... the cloath on his mouth was removed, and so the tie on his wrists, but he was completely locked in. He put his arms around himself trying to find some wamrth...he prayed that Gabbi would run away by herself...he didnt want her to go by all this, and what he knew was about to come.

Meanwhile, Ryan was on his way back....he wouldnt take another one just yet...but, soon enough,
 
Gabbi continued glaring at the woman, but inside, her mind was racing.

If I was a dirty, rotten scoundrel like Ryan, where would I take foster children against their will? The only answers she came up with didn't help at all. China, and the black market. And who knew where the black market was.

Then what do I do? If I run, I'll never find Ed, but I'll be somewhat safe. If I stay, I'll be with Ed in a strange place and have no idea what my future is. Both weren't pleasing options, but the second almost sounded better. Being with Ed would make the worst situations better.

After a few hours... Ryan was back.
"im home.." He called at Edyth....she smiled and walked up to him.
He gave her the small back, and she grinned pleasedy.
"The girl's giving problems...she kinda figures out what going on..."

"She didnt leave right?..."

"No-no of-f couse not" Edyth began with the stammering....

"Bah...if she stays soon enough she'll be with her love" He focused on the last word...chuckling, as well as Edyth did.
 
Gabbi, having seen Ryan's car pull into the driveway, snuck up to the roof, where she and Ed had spent the night not long ago. It was almost as if it was a different place. The only thing of interest was the drainpipe. It jutted out from the wall, almost as if it was begging her to slide down it.

And, having no idea what she was doing, she slid down the drain pipe and began running. She'd find Ed, but her way, not the way that Ryan was sure to provide.
 
"did you just hear that?." Ryan snapped.
"Im not sure..." he ran to the door and spotted her running away.

"Gabbi!!! Gabbi!!...STOP!!.." He yelled, running after her
 
Oh jeez, she thought as she heard him yell after her. I am so in for it now. But she didn't stop, she had to keep going. Her first job was to get away from the Ismans. Her second, to find Ed.

He followed as he could..."STOP I SAID!!..." He continued, not giving up for a while.

"You're lucky he's not taking you anywhere until he has at least three of you.." One of his men yelled from the door.
Ed wa thirsty, hungry, and he didnt sleep well, party because of the cold and because of the dirty place he was inside of.
"Grab this!.." They throw him a bread with some kind of envelope and a bottle of water....Please Gabbi...run away from them...' Those were the only thoughts on his mind
 
I've never been a good runner, she thought ruefully as her stomach began to ache. She looked back, looking to see if Ryan was gaining on her. I hope Ed's alright... I'm going to find you, and save you! she though hard, as if trying to telepathically say that to him.

"Get off of me!" Gabbi cried, "Let me go!" But she wasn't a forty year old man, she was a seventeen year old girl and she didn't have muscles enough to get his hand off her arm. As they walked back, she ground her teeth, deciding what her next move would be.

He tighted his grip on her arm..."Stop moving around and just MOVE!.." he yelled again...They did run a lot, so walking would take longer.

She did as he said, wishing she could actually do something to help instead of simply wasting time.

"So now what, Ryan? Are you going to take me to Ed? Or bar my windows until you decide to take me there?" she asked, venom dripping from every word.

"Shut up!.." He opened the door of the house and pushed her inside..."You decide if you want to continue rebel, so i'll have to lock you on the basement, or, if you just shut up you can go to your room..."
