Future Caspian Discussion Thread

I agree. I loved Orlando as Legolas, especially the intensity in his eyes whenever he drew back an arrow, and the relationship he had with Gimli the dwarf. But Caspian should be a kid, 12-13 in Prince Caspian, and about 14-15 in VDT. I have confidence in Pippa Hall: she gave us a handsome and heroic Peter, an attractive and articulate Susan, a troubled but likable Edmund, and an adorable and wonder-filled Lucy. She'll find us a worthy youngster to play the Prince.

I WOULD DIE IF THEY CASTED ORLANDO BLOOM AS CASPIAN! I seriously think that Caspian should be around the same age as Edmund...14-16.

well, in the book, wasnt he described as a blonde? so, i would think that he would have blonde hair. but, seeing that they didnt have a blonde lucy [as cute as Georgie is], i wouldnt be too sure. but it would be nice. ;)
 
I know this has already been mentioned, but I really, personally, think Jeremy Sumpter would play the perfect Caspian. I have this picture of "Peter Pan" in my mind, and I think he would fit Caspian's adventurous nature very well.
 
PC actually doesnt have to have blonnde hair.....look at Edmund in the movie!!!!!!! :eek: He has black black BLACK (might I add his hotness) hair and he SUPPOSED to be blonde in the boook!

Well, I thought in the book it said that he had brown hair...I have like black..:( Want brown, but it's black. :(
 
I agree that Bloom is WAAAAAAAAAAY to old to play Caspian. Personally, I thought Caspian was a little closer to 15 since he is JUST learning swordplay and such in the book.

1.) Um, ever heard of hair dye?
2.) No one ever said he HAS to be blonde...again, look at skandar as Edmund! He has BLACK hair and Edmunds supposed to be blonde....

I hope I can if I make it to the tryouts when they have it...hope they have it over the summer...I'm living in China, but I'm not Chinese...:D Just business here. I'm turning 15 like 2 weeks later! YAY! and Like, I luv the books that Caspian comes out in...Dunno why, but it just makes me happy!

Um, just wondering, but what kind of race do you think would be qualified to play Caspian? Just wondering, but do u think Caspian can be asian? Cause I always pictured him as like kind of like an asian-like person. :D no offence to anyone, but I'm just wondering.

so now im confused. :confused: if caspian is supposed to be "blond" and he's from the pacific and is descended from pirates or something [i gotta go re-read the book], what does he look like??
 
Caspian has blonde hair. It says so in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. (The books also never say anything about Edmund's hair. Our perceptions came from the Pauline Baynes illustrations, in which Edmund had blonde hair.)

The myth of Orlando Bloom playing Caspian is preposterous. Think about it--he's nearly 30. How on earth would he play a 14-15 year old boy? The idea is sickening. :eek:

He's the LAST person in the world who should be in any Narnia movie! We don't need all the drooling teen fangurls coming to the movie for no other reason than to obsess over Orli and his "hottness". :p lol...

Yea! haha. But I think if the timing is right, then Orli might be good at being Caspian in the Silver Chair when he's old. Don't u think he'd be ok w/ that part?
