These two books are a must read! I found them absolutly genius... = ) they are fictional books about the story of Hezekiah from the Bible. = ) Lynn Austin, the author did an amazing job protraying Hezekiah. Also, if you read them you might see (well i saw at least) it's almost a complete parrelle (sp?) to Prince Caspin. = ) Take a look at them. = ) They're really good.

My favorite thing about Hezekiah is how he struck a blow against hairsplitting mechanical ritualism. When he held his great national Passover, some of the participants were failing to observe every little detail of ceremony, so Hezekiah asked God not to hold this against them, but rather to recognize their genuine desire to worship God. And God approved Hezekiah's prayer.
 
Yeah! I know! His faith and trust in God is so encouraging to me. = ) God can do such miraculous things.

They sound really good.I loved Lynn Austin's other books,so I'm hoping the library will buy these so I can read them.:)

Yeah. They really are. I completely, utterly, above everything else, recommend that you read them. = ) hehee.

I read "Hidden Places" (its a movie but the books better,imo),"Eve's Daughters","Wings of Refuge",and "Refiner's Fire Trilogy"(called "Candle In the Darkness","Fire By Night",and "A Light To My Path").They're all really good....but Hidden Places was my favorite of those,and the second of Refiner's Fire.

What did you think of the excerpt? You have to read the whole book to really get hooked though. = ) hehee.

Yeah. I've read the Refiner's Fire Trilogy. I luv those books. I wish she would write more, but i doubt it. = ( oh well...

i should probably read hidden places. it sounds really good. = )

Sounds really good...*Hoping the library will buy it*.:)
Hidden Places is very good..and the book has much more plot than the movie,although the movie is good.:)
