Ben, Ella, Fred and Kyle were walking to class, Kyle had Transfiguration and would have to leave them soon but he was walking with them on their way to Charms. As they walked they discussed the Daily Prophet article.

"You know the most sensible thing to do is probably to write to your dad Fred," Ben said. "Or maybe even your Uncle Harry, if anything is going on he'd know it."

"And until then we should probably act like nothing is wrong too, if Lightwick is pretending it doesn't matter it's probably for a good reason and we shouldn't blow her cover."

April still looked slightly worried but she finaly trusted that Quait wouldnt let things get out of hand.

It was then that she realised how close she was standing to him, how his hand on her chin, his eyes looking into hers.

She had never been this close, she had always seen him as a bit of a suck up but after the last few days she seemed to have gotten to know him better, not alot but enough to know there was more to him than he sometimes showed.

"we should probably get to class," he smiled stroking her chin with his thumb.

April felt her heart do a funny convulse as he stroked her.

"Yeah probebly," she said but didn't move.

"April it will be ok," he said thinking she still was worried about that evening, "if anything....nothing is going to happen. Like I said she is all talk." he swalowed the lump in his throat trying to sound confident

"mmmm," she said her smile falling as she tried to listen to what he was saying.

"So no worries." he smiled, "Promise?"

"Promice," she said as his smile sent her heart going again and she smilied back

"Good now really should get to calss," he smiled again and put his arm aroundher shoulders as he started walking.

Her heart went off again but she managed to ask, "What have you got now?"

"Potions," he said glancing down at her, "you?"

OCC: are they in the same year i dont remeber i though you were a 5th year and we were 3rd years or am i wrong??

Quait let go of her shoulders and tucked his books under his arms, "I wonder what Isla is up to?" he muttered

"If things go badly...I don't knwo what I'm saying...just nerves." he said turning and walking towards class again

"I'm not sure I want her to get blamed if things don't...well if I get hurt...which isn't going to happen so I don't eve know why I am saying this." he said with a weak smile, "no worries remember." he chuckled, "I amde you promise and now liik at me."

"I'll try to keep her out of trouble," she said.
