no, it's not a joke... the scientists are making it out of some material. if you live in USA and get the washington post, check the science section! there is a small article there called "Revenge of the Muggles" and it has a pic of Harry in the invisibility cloak in Movie 1 under hte article.
 
a boy did that @ mi school...we (the girls) were in the girls' locker room, and the boys' locker room is down the hall a bit. the boys used to have a seperate stair case, but there is construction outside the entrance to theirs, so they have 2 use ours. anyways, a boy just walked right into our changing room, and we all screamed at him "CARTER!!!! GET OUT!!!!!"

I would...do lots of things I couldn't have done if I was visible.Like..rob a bank.And get lots of stuff for free :D

far too many uses, those things...I wonder if those scientists are ever actually going to figure out how to make them...if so, I bet either only the government can have them, or they cost so much no normal people cna have them..
