Has anyone else read The Discarded Image?

I have just dove into The Discarded Image. I would like to have some feedback on it from others. It reminds me of some of the works of Francis Schaeffer.

Well I got married again and the has been so little Lewis news. The Netflix movies has a very strong secret cloak hiding it..

Have not read it but it is on my book clubs reading list. I think we will be going into that in the spring. The real drive to read this is some reviews state this book should be read before delving into some of the great classics of literature. We have done this backwards but a fresh and new perspective is always welcome. I am a huge fan of the The Divine Comedy, Paradise Lost, The Odyssey and others of that ilk and would certainly value Lewis's thoughts and opinions on them. It is safe to say anything CS Lewis wrote is worth reading.
