Edward Bach was a doctor in the 1930's. He was a devout Christian I believe. He turned away from conventional medicine to explore alternative medicine. He ended up pioneering the use of flowers as healers.
His approach was to soak flower heads of various plants in spring water in the sunshine, and then preserve the solution in pure brandy. The theory is that the flowers discharge their VIBRATIONAL energy (from the spiritual realm) into the water and then these vibrations are stored in the brandy.
When you take these remedies their vibrations work upon the emotions and spiritual condition of the patient and they remove blockages and heal wounds. The principal is that almost all illnessess are caused by spiritual symptoms first which then move to the body, mind or heart later.
By clearing the spiritual symptoms you erase the cause of the illness and it just drops away.
The Bach Flower Remedies are what these healers are called. They have been going since the 1930's. There are also other flower remedies which were added later on - in the 1970's and 80's etc. The Bush Flower Remedies from Australia and Flower Essence Services (FES) from America. Edward Bach was British.
These healers have a remarkable success rate which modern medicine cannot explain. They are totally harmless and have no side effects either. You should not replace modern medicine with them, but you can try both at the same time. They will not interact.
