Don't know about Mansfield Park, sorry - but I dearly love the new film they made for Pride & Prejudice, beautifully done. I've read most of her books.

And yes, I've read Roverandom! I love it when he ends up on the moon, what a crazy tale.

Has anyone read the Horatio Hornblower books?

I'm not sure about a BBC one, but I saw a Masterpiece Theatre version on PBS. I know that one is available. I dunno about the BBC one though...sorry :( Either way, good book..my fave Austen :)


(Mansfield Park should be the next big-screen Austen adaptation :D)

That I have! I've read most of Shakespeare's works at one time or another. Read Wuthering Heights also but didn't care for it too much, I just wanted to smack the protagonists.
