Jo Long’s Intro:
Jo Long is a determined police officer. At least, that is what she hoped for. She joined the Force two years ago but flunked after punching another officer in the face. Despite her tomboyish attitude, Jo is a force to be reckoned with. She holds the idea of Duty above all else, despite her fierceness on the field.
That was explainable due to growing up with three older brothers. After being “kicked-out” of the Force, she was offered the job of Security Guard at a local toy store near where she lived. Jo agreed to take the job, as it was her only chance to become an Officer again.
And that was why she was in the large toy store, going on her rounds in the late hours of the night. Though why anyone would steal toys was beyond her.
Never the less, she had to do this job, not only for her Honour but also because she needed the money badly. It was peanuts compared to what she got at the Station as an Officer, but that was not a lot in the first place.
As she was walking along, Jo Long thought she heard the sound of somebody chuckling. Knowing nobody else was in the toy store besides her, Jo assumed it must be somebody up to no good.
Jo’s fears were confirmed as she made her way to the front of the store and saw two teenage punks had the cash register open and were stuffing their baggy jeans with money.
One had spiky red hair and a rather skinny build. From what Jo could see, he had a sleeveless red jacket on and his baggy jeans.
His partner looked rather stocky and was taller, wearing a backwards baseball cap and a tank top over what looked liker a dark blue shirt. He also wore baggy jeans but held a crowbar, which he used to open the cash register.
(What now?)
Lee Donghae Intro:
Lee Donghae glanced around. There had been an apparent suicide, a woman jumped from the top of a building and had landed on the street in the way of traffic. Lee’s job, though not a very good one, was to ensure the safety of vehicles and to direct traffic. Sure, he was merely on Traffic Duty, but he hoped to climb up the ladder like his father did, though his father was on a higher rung then Lee was when he had joined the force. Lee had been stationed in New York, after being transported from the police force in Korea. Maybe it was a mistake on his part, but Lee did not regret it, since his father did the same thing years ago. But, times change and despite learning English, Lee’s real talents were wasted due to the fact not many interesting things happen to Traffic Duty cops.
Sighing to himself, Lee glanced over at the area that was sealed off with police tape. He was slightly envious of the other cops, even if they were only there to look into the suicide.
But, since Lee knew his job was needed elsewhere, like directing traffic, he snapped out of that feeling and became serious.
The traffic flow was fluid and the drivers followed through…until suddenly Lee noticed the cars were started to bump into each other as the main car screeched to a halt. Behind the wheel of the brown car was an old woman whom was squinting and was glancing over at the scene of the accident.
(What shall Lee do?)
Yvonne Raspitiore’s Intro:
Yvonne Raspitiore lived a terrible life. Despite leaving home after turning eighteen and joining the Police Force once she was old enough, Yvonne never forgot the way her parents treated her. That was why she was stationed in a homeless shelter for children. It was not a well-paid job, but Yvonne did not expect or need much for herself. She took the job mostly as a way to help those less fortunate and did her best when it came to helping others. Also, she was great with children. But, she honestly missed the real Force but ultimately thought she would be stuck here in Britain when she knew she could do much more to help people. Still, she was the first officer for this new fieldwork and that at least amounted to something.
Walking along the hallway of the silent shelter, Yvonne suddenly heard the sound of crying coming from one of the rooms.
Going towards the door, Yvonne opened it and glanced in.
A small girl of seven was crying in the corner, a piece of paper clasped in her left hand. Her nightgown went to her ankles and there were tears streaming down her face as her lips quivered with sorrow.
(What now?)
