Leafy should know. I guess it means people who are all "clammed up", you know, with shells (or walls) around them, who don't have close relationships, are not happy. Or may be I'm reading into it too much. Leafy? :huh:
 
Yes, you're reading into it WAY too much. <_< It's just a refute of the expression "happy clam". Hasn't anyone heard it before??? Fine, maybe I'm the only one who pays attention to old expressions. :rolleyes:

Hey, I recognize that dork. :lol: I know its sad, but I love feeding seagulls and other "wild" animals. :D I once saved a bluejay baby, who'd fallen from his nest.
My family raised him (we called him jay-jay), and after we released him, he kept coming back in the house for attention whenever we opened the door. :rolleyes: After a year he finally stopped visiting inside, he contented himself with dive bombing me and landing on my head out in the woods. :lol: I miss having a wild animal as a close friend. :(

the photo of that dork feeding the sea guil? that was jacksonville, fl. some beach touching the atlantic ocean.
